This is one of the most magnificent antique shops I've been too. Don't expect a mall, but they have a plethora of beautiful items. The owner is so sweet and helpful, and the other employees just as. I'll definitely be back. They also restore woodwork, so if you have something that needs a touch up they can either do it for you or recommend someone local who can. 11/10 one of the better local antique stops around. I'm just disappointed that I'm just now finding out about them. Don't think, just go. You'll find something you love.

I stopped in just to look around and I was very clear with them that I didn't have money to spend there that day. I wanted to leave after seeing the upstairs and an employee actually blocked the way I was going and insisted I look downstairs. I did and came back up and still asked me if I found anything I wanted to buy and clearly stated unfortunately no because I didn't have money right now, but I would come in again and tell my friends about the place. Then, she pushed more for me to buy something and then when I said for a third time I wouldn't be able to buy anything another lady working rolled her eyes at me and said, "Yeah, sure you don't. Take a business card." I finally left and felt very disrespected when I was clear about my intentions that day. I will not be visiting again.

What a wonderful place to visit! I truly enjoyed browsing around and looking at the " history". The owner is the most beautiful soul. When you go to the store, please remember, somebody is sharing their history, their life with you!!!! Appreciate it please. I bought some beautiful plates there for my future baking business!! And received a wonderful discount. Wilma, the owner, is willing to work with you on prices.. don't turn around and go.. give it a time. I enjoyed the visit for sure. Thank you to Wilma and her amazing helper. God bless you ladies!!! I will definitely see you again.

This is an excellent source for antique wood furniture specifically. I cannot speak to furniture, but smaller items tend to be overpriced, even in the 50% off area in the basement.

We were on the hunt for matching end tables and there were none to be found HOWEVER, this place is full of items I had never encountered in other antique shops. Some amazing hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces from stately places that obviously cost a lot of money when they were commissioned. I wish I had room for many of the items I saw at Petersons.
