I don’t like leaving bad reviews anywhere but man was Ashley unpleasant from the start and really left a bad taste in my mouth, that I feel like I have to.
I called when I arrived because the doors were still locked, she had an attitude on the phone but said someone would open them…Eventually someone did.
I walked back to the grooming section, walked in and was barely acknowledged, she finally asks for my dogs records ( with a tone ) I let her know that I actually forgot them but had a picture and that I could send it to her email or something and again in an attitude she replies “I just need to see it!”
At this point I’m realizing I don’t want this person handling my dog, but it’s early and I was already out of my way, so I stuck around. I should’ve listened to my gut, because without even acknowledging my dogs presence the entire time,
she finally comes around the desk with a comb and silently walks up to my dog and tries to comb her. Again without a word, her body language was reading aggressive and let’s be real dogs pick up on bad energy. My dog nipped at her and Ashley freaks out as if my small dog viciously attacked her and blurts out that “she won’t be able to go to ANY petcos ever again”
Which is fine, because I have no desire to come back here, I went ahead and cancelled my other dogs appt she had next week. I suggest hiring someone who knows how to handle animals because she clearly needs to be trained again. Add in some training for customer service. I also see from other reviews that I’m not the only one with this kind of experience with the same person.

I came in to find assistance on orphan baby rabbit formula or food. I found kitten formula and then asked a staff if they had other rabbit food. She acted like they had none. I asked literally 3 times and she finally said" just pellets but he may like that ", pointing to a can of cat food I had gotten for my cat
That likely would have killed it . She had zero knowledge nor even tried to steer me in the right direction to rabbit food. I ended up never getting anything else but the formula
