Disappointed with the Cafe. I used to eat there a few times a week. Food and service have gone down and prices have tripled.UPDATE:I truly appreciate your response. To be more specific, the "cafeteria line" used to have displays of food items and/or descriptions, so we did not know that the menu (at the entrance) was needed. When we got to the register, we were only asked for our order and asked the cashier for recommendations. She asked if we wanted the fish tacos, and we said no; she offered no other suggestions.Then, as we continued talking about the items on the menu, she was apparently ringing in everything we mentioned. The total on the register was $100, and we had ordered a pizza and a salad. When we questioned it, the cashier rushed to the kitchen window and told them to stop making the (several) items we had not even ordered.It was a very awkward situation.

Wow Holy cow I didn’t even know they have a coffee shop and if you go to the third-floor, they have a marketplace restaurant absolutely amazing who would’ve known. If you’re in the Nordstrom‘s, I don’t recommend going to the mall area but you can enter an exit from the parking lot fairly safely. This is a dangerous mall so please be very aware if you go into the mall.

I have never been so disappointed in my life then by the poor customer service I received calling Nordstrom's regarding a Clinique online order from 12/18/2023 that I never received. I spoke to two customer service reps including a Supervisor - Julie Lapenna who told me she had "no authority" to doing anything more than send my issue to "investigations" to issue a refund. It has been over two weeks since placing my order and never receiving it. They both verified that the order was lost/never sent even though I received an email that "My order was on the Way!!". The only thing that was offered was a refund and NOTHING above and beyond the 2-week disappointment waiting for my items except to reorder, recharge my credit card.... REALLY NORDSTROM???? Is this the best you can do? How about making it right. Perhaps a Gift Card for the issue on YOUR part. But nothing. Both Customer services reps were rude and did not care at all. So, my business will forever go to Dillard's and Macy's from now on as they could care less. I will tell this story to everyone I know. Buyer Beware! Sure not the Nordstroms of long ago. Very sad.

I came here to get some new chanel foundation, because my old bottle ran out. i always come here and they are usually very nice. A woman stopped by (she was busy, and clocking out at 8, 4 minutes away from the time.) she was very nice, and offered to help me! i told her i couldn’t remember the color, thought it was N35, she told me that they didn’t have them starting with N and they didn’t have a 35, so she offered to look it up on my account. (previous past purchases) they usually just color match me, but i understand wanting to go home after a busy day. so i didn’t mind. i told her i had two previous purchases, one in the 30s and one in the 20s and that the 30 was too dark for me currently and i needed the 20s one. some older blonde (seemed like a manager as entitled as she was acting) came up and interrupted me rudely telling me that they didn’t even go by number shades. whatever she was saying didn’t make any since at all, and i was caught off guard w how rude she was, the first lady told me she found the color in my past purchases and got it ready for me to check out. when i arrived home two hours later i discover that it was still the wrong shade ? so now i have to drive back to the city before work Monday and get the correct one! i am not going back to this Nordstrom tho, cause there was seriously no need for blondie to come at me, clearly i’m not a Chanel expert and i shouldn’t need to be to buy some foundation. She was trying to bash me but seriously didn’t even know what she was talking about herself. just felt like being rude and then walking away ? yall should be happy my guy wasn’t w me tho, cause he wouldn’t have been as nice as i was.

***RACIAL PROFILING IN EFFECT***Until this exact moment, I've been a loyal Nordstrom customer. That ends TODAY.While disheartening, apparently racial profiling is openly practiced here & obviously I'm equally enraged and saddened.My son just left the Oak Park Mall store purchasing last minute Christmas gifts, spending hard earned money just as many others.He became so uncomfortable with being followed through the store by what we later learned was so-called security personnel that he called me to express his anger at the situation. I advised my son to simply ask this person if there was something concerning him about my son's behavior & I overheard him tell my son "No I waa just wanting to close the store". Mind you, he isn't following the Asian or White customers on adjacent aisles in his quest to "close the store", just my son.I instructed my son to return the items he'd purchased and to provide the EXACT REASON for the return to the salesperson.Upon processing the return, he asked the salesperson if it was customary for customers to be followed, to which she responded "only if they feel there's a reason to follow someone, like if their just looking around and not buying anything". Now, even if this pitiful explanation were true, it did NOT apply to my son. He had already purchased items and was looking to purchase more.Also note: she never asked my son the reason for the return. I worked in retail in college & we ALWAYS asked customers the reason for their return.I guess there's no need to question what's clearly understood...I absolutely REFUSE to spend my hard earned dollars with a company employing staff who openly practice racial profiling.To EVERYONE my son interacted with tonight, THANK YOU for:1. Ruining a moment of him simply wanting to surprise his Mom with gifts for Christmas.2. Displaying such sickening behavior.You should be disgusted and appalled by your behavior.I most certainly am.You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I needed to make a return which was easily done. Thanks Nordy!! The store is always so nice with beutiful merchandise and helpful staff. I miss the woman’s plus size department and the store isn’t as well stock as it use to be. Sad.
