“Was given a gift card for Scrubs and Beyond. Took it to this location, only to get to the register and the card was not valid. The older employee eventually pulled in the younger fella working with her that day to see if it was user error. At no point did I blame them (it's not their fault, after all) but the older woman kept making odd remarks while standing there "Well OUR cards are green, this one is blue." It felt like she was trying to find a passive aggressive way for accusing me of something. The younger employee was kind and just did his job without weird, peanut gallery comments. I felt like I had done something wrong by the end of my visit. 4/5 because the selection and quality was nice, and the younger gentleman was so kind. But the side comments by the older gal were out of line. If I made a habit to serve it back to customer service folk, she'd have gone home feeling as bad as I did that day.”
