I 1st contacted Med Resc, in person in October, 2023. I talked with a Ms Tiffany, whom was at the front desk. She inturn told me to take the voucher back to my Dr with information that he needed to add to the voucher. I had another appt with my Dr in January at which I forwarded the information from Ms Tiffany. The info she needed was was faxed to her on January 17, 2024. I then called and spoke with Tiffy on or about January 22, 2024. She informed the info was received and she is working on it. I callMed Resc back on or about February 19, 2024. Spoke with a young lady whom transfered me to Ms Tiffany because she is the person working with my case, I got no answer but I left a voice message for Ms Tiffany, I'm checking on the Status of my equipment, if you can please contact me. Left contact information on voicemail, It's now March 3, 2024, I'm still waiting on the Status!!Thank You Med Resources

I had excellent service with med resources. After waiting for two weeks with another Company, med resources sent the oxygen out within two hours. The customer service agent I worked with, Tiffany, was very helpful.

Poor customer service. Wrong bed delivered but charged for the more expensive bed that had been requested. Repeated calls required to resolve. Would not credit for the bed delivered even though a couple of weeks had transpired. Never were able to talk directly with a person but instead had to exchange voicemails. As of now the correct bed has not yet been received

Carrie Rothwell (Billing Specialist/Kansas Location) I am putting you on notice! I was eligible for the CPAP machine through our insurance. However, it was very challenging along with my disability to use it everyday. I finally received a call from Ms. Carrie that I was no longer in compliance and now needed to pay the full bill of the machine. I asked if there was any assistance programs available to pay off the bill. Ms Carrie became irritated and switched me to another rep. The rep sent me the needed forms to fill out a financial assistance consideration. Ms. Carrie called and this is what she said, *Well, just to let you know. You can fill out the forms but you will not get approved. Just to let you know. Almost no one gets approved." I asked her why she would give me that response when she is not the one who approves the application. She was out of line and out of order for even saying such a hateful comment. She was so unprofessional. So if you ever receive financial forms from this company, it is just to pacify you. It's just for show. Ms. Carrie is the adjudicator, Supreme Court Justice and Appellate Officer who let me know that with those forms, it doesn't work and you will ultimately never get approved!#

Customer service with med resources is difficult if not impossible to work with. Scheduling deliveries and pickups is time consuming and difficult. Their customer service said they put you on a schedule and then when the time actually comes to deliver or pick up you are suddenly not on the schedule. It seems that from the head office on down they are a unreliable business.

6/30/23 3:09 pm Alex promised delivery of oxygen tonight was not delivered waited until 10pm up til 2:30 am waiting…7/1/33 S/with Terry He promised me that there would be “no more mess ups with the company and that he is earning my trust”7/3 @ 7:22 pm Left voicemail Asked to return call “regarding cannula tubing is disconnecting from the concentrator portable”9:07 left message with after hours said” I’d call mgmt if call not returned in 1 hr”7/4/23 @ 12:39 s/w rep at after hours “I’ve been Waiting for 3.5 hours department for a return call from the After hours regarding my cannula keeps getting disconnected there’s no excuse for that!"they finally called me back at 12:34 am said I’d “have to wait until Thursday”!!! And I said “no I’m on oxygen and can’t wait until then because I’m in Lee’s summit” only a 25 minute dr, from Lenexa ks.(it would have been a longer drive if I were at home! )I said to “give me a call back with an eta “ he said “he would”2:15 called but no answer left message to callIt’s now 2:53 am and still no return call2:59 am left message to call

Appreciated the prompt service the Lenexa office gave Mid America Rehab Hospital setting up a bed and hoyer lift for a patient. Worked with Rachel and she was a wealth of information. Process was easy and no hiccups with delivery.

I have been working with Med Resources since January 2022 and have had great service. Ryan, the RT that works with me has done an excellent job at teaching me about my new equipment, troubleshooting issues, and providing quality care. The company has worked very hard at helping me navigate my unique health needs!

I share the concern with the other reviewers in that 1 star can seem excessive. I am a physician and was managing all of my fathers needs at the end of his life when he unfortunately began to have a need for oxygen. Upon discharge from the hospital we were referred to MedResources. I am hopeful the hospital will find a new company to work with in the future, something I hope to discuss with them. They were very difficult to contact. Often calling multiple times a day with no answer. My husband then went to their office and two employees were sitting in the front office, seemingly not doing much. My father required a portable oxygen concentrator, for the last few times he was able to leave his home. It took over 10 days for them to deliver this device. 10 days at the end of his life when he could have been visiting his friends for the last time. They kept telling me a respiratory therapist needed to deliver this item and that THEY would contact me. Turns out the respiratory therapist was on vacation. The portable oxygen tank was much too heavy for him to carry or transport on his own making the portable concentrator the only option for him at the time.My father was my person and the few weeks surrounding his death were incredibly hard. MedResources unfortunately did not make this process easier on my dad or his family. I will always be saddened by this. I hope they can do better in the future for other families. I would recommend you go elsewhere if you are looking for companies supplying your oxygen or DME needs.

I am a cancer patient recovering from pneumonia and was very weak. I got a script from my doctor for a Walker for around the house. Just before Christmas I was sleeping on & off and a rep called saying she could drop off the Walker we needed. I though that was nice. My husb signed but was given no paperwork or warranty. When I was finally able to get up a day or two later, the Walker didn't fit. It was too narrow to slide into, the handles didn't go up very far and the hard cushion was slightly small for me. I called and left several messages. Finally the KU social worker encouraged me to call again and I when I did I was told there's a 10 day return policy and even if we did return it, that's all they could give me! We decided to return it since it didn't fit comfortably anyway, but I felt the lady I spoke to was not accommodating, didn't apologize for the rep not leaving any paperwork or thathat the chair didn't fit!
