Lovely and convenient. This hotel and convention center gives the care and pride Kansas City needs with comfort and a welcoming nature. It's hometown feel with all the upscale amenities will not disappoint.

This location has a great staff, a Starbucks and a great location. The rooms however only had a tiny refrigerator... I always have leftovers and this tiny refrigerator just didn't work for me. Again the staff was great and let me store stuff in the Starbucks cooler. If you don't need a refrigerator then this place will be perfect. The location is easy on and off the expressway. Did I mention there was a Starbucks in the hotel? There is also a good restaurant... Oh and warm cookies every day.... Yum...

I love Marriott, but this one was not good. I was quoted one price on phone and 30 min later at desk it went up. They do not have breakfast, their bistro is overpriced. The courtyard wasn't even used during my one night stay.

For $156 a night there could have been free breakfast! I’m not spending $17 for their buffet!!! There was no microwave in the room either. We were traveling for a tournament and my daughter couldn’t warm up her heat pad because there was no microwave. Not a fan of the feather pillows found them uncomfortable. Room and hotel were clean, bed was comfy just not used to feather pillows. The Starbucks was meh they messed up basic drinks, go outside of the hotel!!!

Intro: out of all the Marriott’s I have stayed at, this one is by far the snootiest and the atmosphere is off.
Pros:
-fantastic location close to everything
-the room was nice
Cons:
-that front desk staff has very weird energy, act like they don’t want to help me, and then having me feel bad for wanting to stay here. It was obvious how they interacted with other guess that didn’t look like me. Very obvious
-bed had hair and the toilet was not clean.
Overall: I will have to find another location when I return.

Rooms: Outstanding rooms Starbucks located in the hotel.
Safety: Very secure.
Food and drinks: Excellent service And restaurant.

Loved the location of the Marriott compared to the event we were in town for. It really felt luxurious and was immaculately clean. We had some friends over to socialize and they mentioned how nice the hotel felt and looked.
The service at the front desk and the breakfast attendants was stellar and I felt valued as a loyal customer. Thank you for making my family feel welcome.

Great experience! Clean rooms, spacious, friendly staff and the pool area was inviting and clean too. Pillows were ultra comfortable and luxurious. Would go back today!

Status at time of stay: Titanium.
M Club: Yes, good 24 hour snacks and drinks. Coffee machine absolutely horrible. No breakfast at club on weekends, go to Bourbon bar.
Breakfast. One of the worse. I’ve had better at 50 year old Courtyard locations in Compton California. Not sure the excuse for this since they have a proper kitchen on site and even a breakfast menu with some good offerings. But what’s offered in the buffet… is a really poor reflection on the property manager.
Parking. Good surface parking, no charge.
