Good prices, good people. I have a bad back. Can't lift. They help with the cart and getting the 3 cases of 30 beers in my car. So my great grand son can unload them for me.

Market 48 Liquors is a hidden gem in south Overland Park. Despite its compact size, this liquor store impresses with its well-organized layout. The separate wine section is a nice touch, providing convenience for wine enthusiasts. What sets this place apart is its exceptional Scotch selection, particularly the Japanese single malts like Hibiki, Suntory, Yamazaki, shibui and Nikka (see video). Additionally, the store offers a good variety of Irish whiskey, catering to whiskey connoisseurs. Although the beer selection is not extensive, it still manages to satisfy with a decent assortment of German and Belgian beers. While it may not rival Gomers in size, Market 48 Liquors is undeniably one of the top contenders in the area.

MY HOME BEVERAGE SHOP!!! ....IT'S BASICALLY!!... CHEERS!! , BUT IN & OUT!! BOB RUNS A TOP-NOTCH STORE!! WITH GREAT TASTING EVENTS FOR NEW BRANDS & IF HE DOES NOT HAVE IT!!.. HE!! WILL GET IT!! (if Kansas is not stupid about it!! Not bobs fault!!) The selection is amazing!! Great staff!! Great location!! Great atmosphere!! Great place to stop to end your day ... PROPERLY & HAPPY!!

I dropped in around 12:30 on St. Patricks Day 2023, was greeted by Joey who walked me through the nice Bourbon selection. Also I like Yuengling beer which is hard to find around here and he showed me a fully stocked Yuengling area at the cooler. Always have a great experience when i go to this store. Sales staff is the best Ive seen.Chris
