This review is solely for Cafe Nordstrom, located on the third floor. Honestly some of the best salads and sandwiches you'll find in the metro, tucked away in a department store cafe! Excellent cheddar chive biscuits and soup as well.

I had a few minutes in Nordstrom today while my teenagers checked out the sports stores. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror & realized I looked as tired as I felt! My mom is a huge fan of Lancôme, so I approached the young lady working there & said "I need help". Olivia listened to my concerns, then helped me find the right shade & products to help. She took the time to apply the products & show me exactly what to do. I feel 5 years younger! Thank you, Olivia! You've got a new long term customer!

A wonderful selection with lots of sizes, colors, and styles to choose from. Without question the best clothing store in Kansas City. Nothing else compares.

Not the best Nordstrom, but got my alterations done and because the items are from Nordstrom, it was free and will be mailed! Generally the associates are friendly, but not particularly at this location. Can't stress enough that getting a Nordy club card from here is worth it just for the alteration services. Updating to say: as I browsed the different departments, no one approached me to inquire if I needed assistance. I eventually asked an associate at a register to call for someone from alterations. The process was fine.

Made the long drive with my friend to hunt for boots. They had some great sales, but the best was the service we received from Carla in the shoe department. These are hard times to work in retail and this young woman hustled to find us what we were looking for and was so friendly and helpful. We will be back because of her great service!

The last year I have struggled with online shopping with Nordstroms. Their shipping & cust. Ser. Totally sucks! I'm a fool to believe anything they tell me because it's all sugar coated lies! I pay for upgraded shipping, what they do not tell you is with multiple items when they separate your order, which is always!! It will not all be shipped upgraded shipping. A pair of underwear might go FedX express & the important bulk of your order will be shipped US postal service to be delivered whenever! This has happened several times!! So angry. They shipped an order this way that I never received for a special event & I had to replace everything because it didn't show up. CS said they would credit my account & never did. Also said they would credit account for a free upgraded shipping so I would not leave them & give them another chance. Well, I did, order a lot of things. And no credit no upgrade shipping I was charged & the same thing has happened no order has arrived 2 weeks waiting on overnight shipping! Come on!!I have never ever had any other company do this to me!! This holiday & all year every company was perfect!! Nordstrom is a zero! Lost my business!! love the products but I can buy the same thing at Bloomingdale!!!

I just closed my long-time Nordstroms debit account (that department, Nordstroms Credit, was sold a few years ago and is free-standing). They are unable to update email accounts of and for customers. It's a part of the forcing-you-to-use-our-app thinking, which has NOTHING to do with security. Gong !

I hate malls and shopping. However, I had an amazing shopping experience at Nordstrom on 12/19/20. Store looked great, well stocked, well merchandised and outstanding customer service. We bought a couple fragrances and we had great customer service. Shirley was very professional, knowledgeable and really knew fragrances. I learned she had worked there for over 20 years and was an expert in the area. If every place looked like Nordstrom and every sales professional was like Shirley, I would like going to stores and shopping again. Great job Shirley!!

This is entirely about the lingerie manager Maddie - 8 months ago I was pushed to purchase a Natori bra from a Nordstroms employee. Rather expensive bra, told by the saleswoman, "worth every penny, will last you (me) years." Made the purchase, and LOVED it - fast forward to today and the bra's underwire is protruding, completely unwearable. Came to your store, spoke an employee who pulled in manager Maddie. Maddie - you were so rude and standoffish, had no empathy and offered no advice, had zero encouragement to check out the inventory and treated me like I was nothing. You were an embarrassment to Nordstrom and shame on you. I am SHOCKED a company like Nordstrom, with impeccable custom service, wastes a pay stub on you. Covid has left so many unemployed - I'm sure there are thousands more deserving to carry your title. We won't cancel our Nordstrom credit cards, because like I said, typically experience impeccable customer service - but I will never give/send any business to her department again. Retail is hurting across the country right now, but her treatment of me sent me directly to Macy's where I purchased the same new bra.

We came here looking for Christmas pajamas for my daughter and Alice was probably the cutest most helpful employee ever! She is petite and so is one of my daughters and her advice was so helpful, she had a smile on her face the whole time, and I wish all employees at Nordstrom's were just like her! Way to go Nordstrom for finding someone like her!!! Alice rocks!!

Stumbled upon the Cafe on the third floor of Nordstrom today. I've been there so many times, but clearly I'm not paying attention to my surroundings. My husband was with me this time, so of course he wanted to take a break from shopping and grab a snack. Our snack ended up being the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and I didn't even regret taking the break from shopping. Step in here and try it! It'll make the shopping experience even better! The 5th star goes out to David...the best server ever!!
