Our relator recommended them. Big mistake. Said it would "only take a couple of days" to get pre qualified, but three and a half weeks later no notice or anything. Did not have a problem sending me promotional emails, but would not get the loan process moving. Claimed they could not verify my employment (which was a lie, as I had checked with my employer and they had done so weeks prior), and made an excuse that the end of the month was hectic (considering we started this way before then).

I just recently closed on a house and I initially started with the office in Overland, Kansas, unfortunately due to the mishandling of the file and communication immensely I had it transferred to a local office. I advise no one to pay for any appraisals with your debit/ credit card. The information is stored in their system and if a rush appraisal is needed it comes off your card without your authorization. I used my card to pay for an appraisal May 19th. Things got mishandled in the office and the closing date was missed. In order to have it done by the second date set a rush had to be put on it. I was told by a loan officer that the extra fee would be taken care of at closing, but instead, my card was charged April 3rd and was declined because it was a prepaid card and the funds were not on there. I called them about it and I was told that should not have happened and was assured it would not happen again. A few days later I reloaded my card to send money to family and they charged it again April 19th for the appraisal rush ($250) but only this time the money was available. So, if it was going to be taken care of at closing why was my card even charged the very first time for this extra fee. A month later my card information was stored. They tell you they don't keep any card information so how did they keep mine a month later? No one wants to admit to the wrong doing. Which was an unauthorized transaction. Give them a money order or cashier's check when you (the buyer) has to pay something upfront! I'm sure they will delete this but it will be shared elsewhere.

After talking with several possible mortgage lenders, Kip with Leader One was the most calm, polite and helpful out of them all. There was one other who offered a slight lower interest rate however that person gave me the sense of a fast talking car salesman. Personally, I would gladly pay a bit more to work with someone I feel is more trustworthy. I'm so glad I went with Kip and Leader One. Kip took the time to answer all my questions and explain each part of the process in a way I could understand. I am very happy with the entire process and outcome of my mortgage. I will definitely seek out Kip for my next home purchase. Highly recommended.

I am a real estate investor and I have done so many loans during my career I can't even count them all. This loan with Brittani and her team at LeadedOne was, by far, the easiest and fastest loan I have even done. Straight forward and professional all the way. No crazy or unreasonable underwriting requirements. Just a clean professional loan. I recommend Brittani to three of my family and friends and they did refi loans with her and said the same thing. I wish all loans were transacted like this. VERY IMPRESSED! Highly recommend.
