I did not have a good experience. I visited this location for approximately five minutes, selected an item, and proceeded to check out.The associate checking me out requested my name and phone number and other information. I politely said that I did not want to provide that information. The associate, then abruptly removed the boxed jewelry from the register and said, “I can’t sell this to you without your personal information“. Nasty tone.Her claim was a false as proven by the nice young lady who immediately processed my purchase without having to get my information. The rude associate I am referring to is a thin, elderly lady, whose name I did not get.The young lady who assisted me after I was refused service was outstanding. I would come back, but I would not accept service from that rude lady. She should not be customer-facing.Good manners and being polite cost nothing.

I recently wanted to special order a necklace for a graduation gift. The necklace was going to arive too late, so I went to the Oak Park Mall store in KC to see if they could help. Audrey was able to find one in a store in Louisiana and had it shipped next day. That was above and beyond customer service. Customer for life!

My wife and her friend shopped here today for a ring. They are both Mexican, and English is their second language. They said they were treated suspiciously, and that the woman on staff exhibited rude, prejudiced behavior. They are hurt and disappointed, especially because my wife's friend was just engaged, and the interaction dampened her joy.

The customer experience was terrible . We had paid in full for a pair of earrings and we ended up returning them during pick-up because the employees were rude and spent a lot of time refusing to give us the order.

I lost my diamond and I was sick about it. My husband brought me to Kay’s Jewelers at Independence Mall. We met with Ramon. He was exceptional. He knew what we wanted by listening to us. I love my new ring.

I love this Kay’s at Oak Park Mall! The ladies are all so friendly and they’ve got such a selection. Come to their Dana Augustine shows you won’t be disappointed! Brandi, the store manager is awesome and she helped me select the perfect setting for my diamond and it was made right there for me on the spot! My husband and I had so much fun celebrating our anniversary up at Kay Jeweler’s! I just love my ring!

I've shopped at Kay's for years first it was Dortha who gave us awesome service . Now Percy Grubb at overland Park mall has given has given me exceptional customer service. If Percy is bust don't mind waiting Percy is patient and always suggest jewelry she thinks I may like.Percy keep up the great work.?

My shopping experience at Kay Jewelers was terrific.I’ve purchased many many pieces of beautiful jewelry for family, friends and myself, and we have never been disappointed.I recently ordered online and felt that the pictures were quite accurate, which is very important when I shop online.The sales person, Angelica De León was very knowledgeable, professional and most of all very courteous. After the thoughtful response from the store's manager, I am editing my previous review to say, simply, prices for routine watch repair, adjustments, battery replacements, are too high, in my opinion.I recently went here to have the battery replaced in a Swiss Army watch, and to have a link removed from the stainless steel bracelet. I was charged $50. I feel like this was way too much for those services.I think this now, because days later I took the same watch to another watch store to have the second hand reattached, and to make another adjustment to the bracelet. That charge was closer to $10--a fifth the price for, arguably, a more complex service.I can only speak to Kay's watch repair service, not their jewelry business, but if this is their business model, then I won't return, for any reason, and unless you're at the mall already and it's handy, and you're willing to spend more, that is my recommendation to others.
