So i'm not sure what's going on but this place It's not getting inventory and every time I come here The gal who cuts fabric is just the nastiest thing.

Look at the entitlement in the reviews. Want to know why the store is short staffed? No one wants to deal with the inconsiderate pompous individuals that live in Johnson county. I went there the other day, a typically south joco couple that had no idea how many yards needed to create curtains out of ugly emerald velvet. The poor lady at the cutting counter had to keep stopping assisting customers that actually had some forethought to come prepared with what they needed. This went on for a half hour.
The store is messy because they are short staffed. The ones that are still working are worn out from all the rude entitled behavior so you all can feel “creative” by making yet another fresh set of tacky tie blankets to cover your calloused feet.
Do everyone a favor. Don’t go to the store if you can’t have some decency, patience or a plan.
Please note, it’s not their responsibility to ensure you know how to sew. Learn prior.

I cringe every time I have to shop here, but I need fabric. The staff are astonishingly rude every time. Not once have I had a pleasant experience. They really need an attitude check, especially when innocent customers are just asking for assistance.

The employees were all friendly and helpful. Pearlie helped me find matching fabric for my dress. She gave me wonderful ideas on how to alter it. It was a multitude of fabric and supplies available.

The woman at the fabric counter was SO incredibly rude and unkind, and the girl at check-out made no eye contact and didn't say one word to me. I will never go back there.

Great merchandise. Friendly staff. On staff member showed me how to get a coupon on my cell and I got 50% off of my fabric purchase. It is clean and well organized.

I like the selection and level of service here on Metcalf store. They even have a Universal Restroom, that used to be the Men's Room. Women's room is still for the Women or who identify as Female. Had a great time here, 2023.

I went in with an idea for a project I wanted to do but ai had a few questions about what I should use. I was looking g to buy several wards of fabric as well as all the other bits and bobs and didn't want to waste money, so I grabbed a number at the fabric counter and patiently waited my turn. The lady who "helped" me had spent the previous 20 - 30 minutes helping another customer shop for her fabric but when it was time for my turn I was met with a skeptical look as I began to ask my questions. The lady proceeded to sigh like my questions were an inconvenience and said " I have a line, I can't help people do personal shopping." Even though she had just been doing exactly that for the person before me. I then asked about what water-proofing products they had and was met with another audible sigh and a dismissive answer. Seeing as how she couldn't be bothered to help me I thanked her walked away. Terrible customer service. I left without buying anything and will never be shopping at Joann again.

Items show in stock online, however items were out of stock upon arrival. Staff was nearly impossible to find and I finally did find someone to help they were extremely rude. I got told I could place a pickup order and they would just cancel it because they wouldn't be able to find it in the boxes in the back.
