I have been coming here regularly for the last 3 years for business trips. Overall a great hotel but not right now as they are undergoing renovations from Nov 2023 to April 2024. I was not aware of this until I arrived for check in and at that point it was way too late to rebook elsewhere through my company which makes the bookings through a travel company. Sleep and work were highly impacted and it was a miserable week. I couldn’t even make phone calls for work inside the hotel as it sounded like a jack hammer was being used indoors and even outside of the hours expected. I don’t recommend staying here until after April when renovations are expected to be done. Highly recommend the hotel sends an email to guests to let them know prior to staying that renovations are occurring as not everyone books on the website where it is posted. The gym is also closed while renovations are ongoing. Side note, keep your door latch closed while in the room. The cleaning lady walked in at 9:45am without knocking when check out time is 12:00pm.

This is a really good Hyatt Place. I stay at them frequently and this is one of the better ones. There's nothing to do within walking distance but there's a lot just a short drive away. If you're trying to decide between this and the HP Overland/Metcalf this is far superior.

This hotel has an infestation of ants.I stayed on the second floor.I was told this is a known problem.I was offered to relocate to a room on the same floor.Don’t expect anything else to be done.Instead of calling an exterminator they called maintenance….Those traveling into Overton for work, contact your booking agency and have them find you something else.Stay at your own risk…

Nice hotel with a good free breakfast. Staff was great. My only surprise was there are no dressers in the rooms. Nice outside area in the back you can use even if the pool is closed. The bar is really a counter that has drinks you can order. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here over the labor day weekend and our stay was fine. The rooms were as advertised and the cost was fair. Service was probably the one bright spot. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was as advertised but I would describe it as average for hotel breakfasts. The coffee wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The parking lot was not well maintained and there were areas that had pot holes and broken concrete along with poor lighting.

If you’re booking through bookings don’t pay attention to the room size because they told me all the rooms are the same size. I booked for a king bed because we have a toddler, and the bed is not king they told us it is but it’s not we went back to tell them is not but they said all their king beds are the same size. We stayed at the other Hyatt place and the king bed is way larger. We even measured it.

We frequently stay at Hyatts. This is the worst one we have stayed at and had multiple maintenance issues including a gaping hole right above the shower. Toilet wasn’t cleaned. I really question what gets cleaned in the rooms. Yuck! Charged our card for two rooms and didn’t want to refund. They offered to charge the second room for just one day. What???? We did not book two rooms. Why would we pay for the second one? What a scam. . Don’t stay here.

I wanted to reach out because I am embarrassed about a situation that occurred Sunday morning at 10am. I was getting dressed in the bathroom area and suddenly a housekeeper walks into my room. I am standing there in my underwear and she looks at me and I ask if I am suppose to check out at 10am because I thought it was noon and she said Yes and walked out. I then hurried to get dressed and get my stuff together and get out quickly. In the elevator a guy was telling me the same exact story just happened to him. Why would your housekeepers be coming into rooms at 10am if check out is NOT until noon???? This is unacceptable and I told the desk lady at check out what happened and she said that happens often. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING????

my family of five stayed here, two nights recently, and had a very pleasant experience. In contrast to other hotels, the front desk staff specifically Greg was very welcoming and personable, and eager to make us feel welcomed my children really enjoyed the outdoor pool, which was simple, but clean and a nice mix of sun and shade. The breakfast offerings were much better than other hotels, but seating was lacking in the lobby. It was quite crowded. Both mornings we were there hard to find a place to sit. The rooms themselves were clean and stylish, with a very comfortable bed and linens would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again ourselves

This hotel needs a lot of help toilet seat almost falling off I asked the front desk for a screwdriver she was about to give it to me and then said oh I'll call maintenance. Housekeeping doesn't exist unless you check out the next day you have to change your own sheets you have to go down to the front desk and get towels sheets change your own trash for the what the cost I wouldn't recommend staying here. The complimentary breakfast very Bland not even stock you have to ask for plates you have to ask for silverware out of coffee went down at 7:00 with all these issues and they close at 9:00. This is during the week I can understand if it's the weekend, when people get up nobody cleans the table off you have to clean your own table and you don't even work here. It's a good thing that the staff talks to you nicely they just don't do much. But they at least get the stuff for you when you asked for it. Just have to ask for it that is what is sad.Rooms: No room service until you actually asked for it and you don't even get that I asked the lady that was cleaning the rooms if she was going to the room today and she said yes but come back find out it wasn't even done you're staying one more than one night they're not going to clean your room.

We had a pleasant stay, nothing much to complain about. Parking was good and the breakfast was simple and standard. The service was good and they were quick at sending room service for something we needed. The location is very convenient as well.
