My dad recommended House of Diamonds for the seemingly impossible task of resizing my late grandmother’s wedding ring just three days before my wedding day. Gene was kind and knowledgeable when explaining the resizing process. We went in unsure if it was even possible to resize a ring with such short notice but were shocked when he said he’d have it done the next day. Sure enough, I called the following day in the late afternoon and it was ready! My entire family was blown away with the absolutely stunning results. It’s obvious the amount of care and attention that goes into their craft here at House of Diamonds. My grandmother’s love continues to shine through these diamonds. Thank you, Gene!

My daughter's engagement ring was in desperate need of repair. JP clearly explained the process and assured her they performed all repair work in house. The ring was ready on its promised due date and the diamond is well secured. This was a first time experience and it couldn't have been better! Thanks, JP!

I brought several of my recently deceased mother’s items in to get advice on how to best replace stones and rework these pieces for me to wear. I was disappointed in the help I received from Gene. With a dismissive attitude he actually picked up my mom’s mother’s ring and BROKE a prong off of it to “prove” it wasn’t worth repairing. What a disappointment, especially when they came so highly recommended. He was rude to me and my jewelry. I wouldn’t recommend this jewelry store to anyone. Gene, I don’t need you to apologize for my loss, I would appreciate an apology for breaking the prong off of my mother’s ring.

These people are awesome! The quality and selection of rings and stones was incredible! I was made to feel as comfortable as family from the minute I walked in the door. I will never shop another jewelry store, you all rock!!!!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at House of Diamonds. Gene and his team pulled off a holiday miracle when I came in needing an antique piece altered. Everyone I encountered, both over the phone and in person, were warm and eager to help, and upon pick-up I was so grateful to see the finished piece exactly as I had envisioned and described it! If you're looking for a jeweler, I feel confident saying you'll be in great hands at House of Diamonds. They definitely care about their customers and their work speaks for itself. I can’t say enough great things about the House of Diamonds Team. They were able to transform my grandmothers diamond ring into a beautiful masterpiece that is one of a kind. I may not have had tons of money to spend but they still treated me like I was spending $10,000+. Designing my own piece of jewelry was an exciting but nerve wrecking experience and the team made the entire process flawless.

I have been a customer of the house of diamonds since 2005 (ish), and will not likely ever go anywhere else! Gene and his wife Karen are both awesome people, and they treat you right and with respect. Every time I go in to see them, I am welcomed and the conversation is relevant to the visit and times. I cannot say anything even remotely close to a bad experience has ever been experienced as they have made every visit worth the time and money. I will say they are not the place to go if you want cheap stuff... But if you want quality service and absolutely stunning, quality adornments that they will stand behind forever more, I would seriously encourage you to stop in and say hello. They will help you find your selection and it will be what they promise it to be. Trustworthy, caring, genuine, and real are all words that come to mind... Go see for yourself and you won't be disappointed!

My wife recently discovered that her 30 year old wedding ring needed resizing.That same day we were looking for another business in the area,found House Of Diamonds,and decided to go with fate.Gene had a warmth and sincerity rarely found in today's marketplace.Up until our visit with him we were still using a jewelry store we frequented at our previous Southern California address.We now look forwardto a new relationship withHouse Of Diamonds here and will be recommending them to not only our friends and neighbors but also to our hospital coworkers as well.

Had my ring repaired, and appraised and they did a beautiful job! Even fixed a prong that many other jewelers said was not necessary. They even got the ring back to me before my vacation (was not a guarantee). I highly recommend HOD!!!! Thank you HOD for making this girl very happy!!!!!

Tatyana here!!!It’s April 7th 2023, I’m looking for a place to get my chain fixed! I Google the best place in Overland Park and H.O.D pops up first. I walk in and am IMMEDIATELY BLINDED by this array of magnificent jewelry!!! I mean they aren’t lying, it’s a house of diamonds forsure!!! But besides that, the wonderful man who helped me Gene was so friendly and informative. Even fixed my chain and cleaned it WITH MY PENDANT for FREE!!! I absolutely love this place! If you need anything pertaining to your jewelry THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! Needless to say I left a very happy customer who will soon return with a shiny necklace!!!! 10/10 must return soon for that KC pendant!!

My husband had the most amazing experience picking out my engagement ring at House of Diamonds. It made so much sense after hearing about the whole process after the engagement and getting to personally go in and meet the owners. They were super helpful and personable during the whole process which elevated the experience since it can be stressful trying to find the perfect engagement ring. I would recommend them to anyone and every one!

Karen has been wonderful to work with on a pair of custom cast white gold earrings for my wife. She listened insightfully to my wife's description of the look she wanted to achieve as a variation of an example pair she used to wear, and the earrings came out just the way she wanted. She loves them and of course they look awesome on her! It was great to be able to see a physical mock-up of the product before final release to work out the final details. The price was very reasonable for what we were buying, and much less than another jewelry store we had visited. We will definitely be a long-term customer with House of Diamonds!
