We made a purchase at another Home Goods and brought it here to return it within the specified time frame. We have the receipt and were told that since the register that printed the receipt did not print it clearly, they could not scan it and therefore refused to let us return it for the price paid. They only offered a gift card. Everything was legible on the receipt except the bar code.

Went to check out with a young man this evening and had a few items. He just laid my receipt on top of my items and did not wrap a ceramic item or place them in a bag. He did not offer if I wanted a bag or not for my things. I feel like you should at least ask the customer if they would like a bag or not.

Attempted to purchase an item at this location tonight. Only one cashier was open. She decided chatting was more importantthan being expedient with guests. In my time in the checkout line I heard a conversation about vacation in Colorado and dogs. A second worker was walking around the counter but had no intention of helping anyone. Perhaps others have all night to chat but I do not.
