I lived here for a year and I gotta say this place was great. Maintenance was the best I ever have seen at an apartment complex extremely fast. Very quick to reply about any noise complaints as well. Pool is very nice and the dwelo stuff was very convenient. When I moved out they paid the whole deposit back and gave us our prorated rent without hesitation this is unheard of for me in a complex they usually try and nickel and dime you on the way out. If i had to list some negatives the gym needs new equipment the parking can be tough to find a spot and neighbors can be noisy and barking dogs you can hear through the walls. But the staff was always taking my noise complaints very seriously and responded very quick. So why did I move out the rent was raised significantly after 1 year and I would not be able to afford the payments anymore. But if you have the income this place is a great choice.

Highlands Lodge has the best management and amenities. The views are amazing with beautiful trees and Indian Creek. Quite location close to restaurants, shops and entertainment.

This is a new complex, app 8-9 years old. I was living at an apt 35+ years old. There is NO comparison between them! The appliances are pristine, saltwater swimming pool, great workout room, laminate living room floors which I love instead of carpet. I set trash outside my door which is picked up 4 times a week. Fetch delivers my packages to my door. I feel very safe and use a fob to get in my building, which is an extra safety measure. My maintenance requests are resolved in a timely manner. They change my lightbulbs, I would have a hard time because I would need a ladder with the tall ceilings. It's a homey community and has community events every month, such as this month of Dec a "Hot Cocoa Bar" & "Breakfast on the Go." It has a walking trail with trees, I've seen deer by the stream where I park my car. Residents are entertained watching a bald eagle family, you will often see people taking pics or looking at them with binoculars. Many residents have dogs which are very well mannered and the residents pick up after them. They provide an app called "Dwelo" which is on my iPhone and allows me to turn on and off my hear/air conditioning, lights, door even when I'm not at home.Luv this place.

This place has some work to do. The complex itself or is good condition, but the management does not follow through with what they say. They never answer their phones and the only way to get anything is resolved is to go to their office and basically force them to do their job. My honest feedback is to hire decision makers who hold themselves accountable and care about their residents rather than take the easy way out. Until that happens I do not recommend living here as it will be a headache and a chore on your finances.
