Found this place was close to our hotel. We were hoping for live music but we were a day off. Instead we got line dancing. We didn't participate but had a good time watching. Had some local buffalo Creek whiskey and it was good. Appreciated having local drinks instead of the national brands.

I attend G&C regularly. It's fun when you go with a group of friends to dance, but it's not a perfect place.There are friendly people, but on occasion I've seen people get thrown out. Don't trust them with your tab. I normally pay with cash but the one time I didn't they screwed up and had someone else close my tab. My card got charged $20 for two light beers. It didn't make any sense, but when I asked about it the bartender said the total checked out since they apparently double the price when they feel like it.Otherwise, it's a nice place. They have live bands on the weekends. Some are hit or miss. There are plenty of line dances to learn, two stepping, and a separate area for yard games and pool. All that's missing is a mechanical bull!

Lots of fun! Plenty of space to move around, sit, stand, and a nice big dance floor that is active! Excellent live music as well. We saw Brenna Bone when we were there. Great music!

The band was very good. The place is clean. The bar tenders are fast and friendly. There is a nice place outside for smokers and another space to shoot pool. We had a fun time.

Awesome cover band, wow. The drinks were cheap and there was unlimited parking. There was a small cover charge.

Fabulous place for great bands and dancing! Management is friendly and helpful. Several bar areas so no long wait for a drink!

Really nice looking establishment. My wife and I were out on a date night and wanted to dance before heading back home to our kids. They had live music playing past when we had to leave. We tried to dance, but with live music being less predictable and people wanting to watch the band, it was very difficult to get space on the dance floor. We figured live music would end by 9 or 10, but we were sad to leave at 10:45 almost an hour after we intended to stay with the band still playing. There are better live music venues and better dance floors, and we suggest going elsewhere.

I'm not a country music fan but this place is always a fun place to come to and enjoy the music, dance or just people watch. Cover charge $5-$10. Plenty of parking. Reasonable price on drinks.

Clearly racist and overly aggressive. Dont put your hands on anyone. I was allowed to walk in with a bud light from next door. Randomly a guy from security grabbed me and yelled at me. I wouldve just thrown the beer away. After he was told i was fine he remained a POS. We left. Head of security is sweet. But touch me again and we have problems

The place it self is great but they need a better DJ. The DJ literally killed the mood with all the slow songs and pop songs he played.

I've only been once, and it was a night I was in town for work so I went by myself. So my review is going to make some assumptions because I mostly just sat and listened to music and watch others dance. That being said, this was a wide open venue that was clean and inviting. I would definitely go back with my wife or some friends which will help my own experience. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time! I would love to see it on a live music night, the seemed to have a nice stage area. The drinks were priced about what you'd expect in that part of KC so no real surprises there.
