Damien Was very helpful. GKH repaired four chairs and a table for me. They stabilized the chairs. They also refinished and repaired a table that belonged to my grandparents. GKH did an excellent job with both projects.

We had GKH Furniture Repair and Restoration restore my grandmother's cedar lined hope chest that had been water damaged when it was left in their old house after the roof started to leak. They did a wonderful job of restoring it. I highly recommend them.

My grandparents dining set is 80+ years old. The chairs were in bad shape, I thought I would have to repurpose them as wall hangings! I contacted GKH. Greg looked at a few pictures and assured me that they could be reglued and last another 50+ years! I asked if they could improve the finish. That process was not in my budget But! Greg went above and beyond and “touched up” the finish on the chairs. They look amazing! I couldn’t be happier! I was not able to upload a picture here.But I put one on their site. Thank you Greg!Highly recommend!

Greg restored my mother in-laws great grandmothers china cabinet. The entire family thought it was beyond repair but he restored it to brand new condition.It’s solid and will last another 100+ years!Thank you Greg!Absolutely stunning work!!! Thank you for saving a precious family heirloom!

In 2021 we had a dog that chewed on the corner of our coffee table & didn't know if it could be repaired or not. My husband found out about this business & we decided to "give them a try" to see if they could repair it. The work they do is AMAZING!!! The corner of the coffee table was so badly damaged that we were skeptical about if it really could be repaired but when we picked it up, we could not tell which corner of the coffee table had been damaged! Would absolutely recommend this business!! Thank you guys so much for repairing our coffee table at a reasonable price so that we didn't have to replace it!!

Greg added cane to my powder room vanity doors, which no others seemed to be able to figure out!! They turned out beautifully, and working with GKH was great. The communication was spot-on, price was fair, and work superb. Highly recommend this wonderful local family business, and I'll be using them for any furniture restoration projects I might have.

We reached out to Greg at GKH Furniture Repair to refinish the top of our dining room table. When we took the table to Greg, the finish had been eaten away, and it was sticky and gross. Greg quoted us a fair price and told us it would take him about 4 weeks to complete the table. He called us after 2.5 weeks and it was finished. We can’t believe it’s the same table. It looks brand new again! I would definitely recommend GKH Furniture Repair! They did a great job!

What can I say about Greg and his son? They have an eye for what is beautiful and it shows. I took my grandmother's dining room table ( that I grew up with) and had them fix it (it was very creaky and wobbly) and then refinish and bring it back to its original beauty. I could not believe it and pictures don't do it justice. It looks like a museum piece. In all honesty, good luck finding anybody in KC that has this kind of skill. You won't find it.

Greg, the owner, is the nicest, most experienced and professional man you will meet.Damien, our technician, took a creaky hundred year old rocker with a broken support and blue velour upholstery and fixed everything! They updated it with darker stain and leather upholstery. The chair is beautiful and will stay in our family for another hundred years. I can't recommend these guys enough!
