Just recently moved to the Overland Park area and this salon was the first and closest I came across and I couldn’t be any happier! My first impression was my phone call to set up my appointment and Hannah made sure to reassure me that whenever I could make it in, that they will make sure no matter what to get me in! Not to mention I was extremely impressed with the prices she gave me over the phone. I was even more impressed walking into the salon and just how beautiful and polite everyone was. The prices also put a smile on my face, especially for what I was getting!! With everything combined from the location, the salon, the prices and just how classy my nails looked leaving the salon, I knew I found my new favorite salon : )

I got a pedicure and manicure recently, and it was extremely rushed. The manicure in particular looks very poor quality - top coat doesn’t cover the whole nail/color so there are lines everywhere, they didn’t paint the free edge so the nail doesn’t look done, and on the pedicure they didn’t paint the whole nail on a couple. The manicure in particular wasn’t relaxing because they were just rushing to be done as fast as possible.

I love that they had a variety of different gel polish and everyone was very friendly. My gelx nails are so beautiful, however I was displeased with my pedicure and the fact that acrylic was used to fillin my gelx. I think I spent a total of 8-10 minutes getting a pedicure. It was very rushed. I was in and out of the chair even before some of the other customers that were there before me. I did happen to get acrylic toe and the right one is tilted. I did not mention it but I did happen to emphasize and touch it so the tech could notice. For the gelx fill, I'm sure she used acrylic to do a fill in and I did mention again that I was doing a gelx fill. All in all, I won't be returning.

My gel pedicure is peeling off less than a week later. I wanted a manicure with just clear polish and all the "manicure" entailed was placing my hands in a cold water dish. I didn't even get lotion for my hands or cuticle oil. Not to mention I left with jagged, uneven nails, even after asking him to fix a nail after he was done. Will not go back.

Cleanliness: The salon is very clean and newly redecorated.

These guys are absolutely fantastic! Linda, Vin, Helen and the rest of the crew are THE BEST at what they do. I get pedicures each time I go and they give the best leg and feet massages I have ever had. Their work is impeccable and they make sure you get exactly what you ask for. Priced very affordable. Best little secret in OP.

Beautiful location, lovely customer service and especially Hannah that did her magic on me after l had given up hope on someone making my nails look good since l had decided to start growing out my nails. The previous place l went too made my nails look so horrible but by the time l left Famous nails, l was smiling from ear to ear. Most definitely recommend ? and now am a new client ☺️. Wife made an appointment that wasn’t honored even though she scheduled a manicure and pedicure previously. I had to cancel my plans and come back to get her. She was upset at their lack of customer service and ability to help - clearly they don’t value their returning customers.

DO NOT GO! I made an appointment and waited over 30 minutes and was told I'd have to wait even longer. The person I was meant to see wasn't available because they took a walk-in even though I made an appointment.
They were rude and disrespectful of my time, and they do not honor appointments. There was no apology or help. I took time off for this and wasted an hour of my day.
Horrible customer service and not reliable.
Do not go.

Quite far from me but I just happened to come for the first time because on google it said they do gel-x nails. Was greeted and seen quite fast. I felt like my nails got done super quick too and looked gorgeous!

I’ve been coming to Famous Nails for about a year now after moving to the area. I tried out some other salons but Famous Nails won me over. Kai and Emy are absolutely terrific! ❤️
