It's a wonderful place! I really love all the class options and all of the instructors are fantastic. I started going to try and fix some issues I was having with tight muscles and fascia. The yin yoga classes have completely alleviated my foot problems and prevented a gnarly surgery.

Exactly what I needed! I was striking out, finding a class/studio that had the right feel (for me) when traveling to KC for work. This one had the right vibe, a yogi community with welcoming energy, I felt it upon entering the front door. I could see this displayed in their synchronized practice as well. Kimberly led a balanced, intentional (heated advanced) vinyasa flow. Very well led class. Moving with the breath slowly, with strength through the asanas, the energy and tribe in that room was everything I needed today. I am very grateful for this experience. Thank you, Darling Yoga. I'll see you again someday soon!

Love this studio! I've been doing yoga on and off for about 10 years now and this is one of my favorite studios I've practiced at. (Also, the largest studio I've ever been to). There is a wide variety of classes offered, and the instructors are professional and kind. Each instructor has their own style and always switch up their flows which is really nice as at some studios it's the same vinyasa on repeat. And the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the amount and variety of classes offered in a day. So happy to have found Darling Yoga!

This is one of the most peaceful, comforting yoga studios I have ever been to. The relax and restore class was wonderful. Emily Darling is a beautiful presence to be around.

Darling Yoga is just that, quite darling with inviting instructors and fellow students as well as a truly awe-inspiring studio space to practice yoga of all levels. The almost floor to ceiling windows make the natural light dance in between you during class. The tan wooden floors are bright and grounding at the same time. The wide studio area gives everyone plenty of personal space to practice. Emphasis on breathwork is stressed from the beginning to the end of class. This is imperative for a complete immersion into the mind-state of a yogi. It's a women owned business very close to Johnson County Community College. My advanced vinyasa class was a wide range of ages as well as genders, and the class was taught at a very reasonable to follow pace. I will definitely return to Darling Yoga, maybe even for a workshop in the near future.

I’ve had a wonderful experience here. I am new to Yoga, and everyone here has been so friendly and accepting. Even after only five classes, it’s been a game changer for me mentally. It has given me the space to prioritize the things that really matter in life. I’m looking forward to building a consistent practice and making further positive changes in my life.

All of the classes I took were great- a two week unlimited intro membership was an ideal way to try out the studio offerings. As a relatively new yoga teacher myself, I can't wait to get back there for a great experience just being a student again.

I’ve been doing yoga on and off for years but I’ve found a great routine at Darling Yoga, they have a good mix of levels and make you feel welcome in every class. Most instructors are great about recommending props to modify poses and have body affirming practices.Plus they have yoga mats and any props you’d need available at the studio. I highly recommend taking advantage of their new student special and trying out several classes/instructors to find the right fit!

I came to Darling Yoga after surviving the Covid ICU, after intensive rehabilitation, yet still dealing with a compromised immune system but wanting to continue strengthening my body. I found the studio teachers to be so kind, and nonjudgmental (I had to wear an N95 in public spaces for almost a year). The atmosphere is truly a unique, loving, supportive and trauma-informed community. My journey continued to include not just physical, but mental and emotional healing. I ended up taking the Yoga Teacher Training this year and it was a life-changing experience. The community in this studio has literally changed my life and I am forever grateful! I highly recommend Darling Yoga, and their training program, even if you don’t plan to teach, it’s an amazing experience. Thank you, Darling Yoga!

As an experienced yoga evaluator for Chinese yoga enthusiasts worldwide, I've taken a look at the website link and Google Map reviews of the yoga studio you provided. Now, let's get down to business and rate this place!First of all, let's talk about the location. The coordinates point us to a spot in Kansas City, Missouri. Well, if you're looking for a tranquil escape from bustling city life, you might want to reconsider because this yoga studio seems to be located in the heart of the city. But hey, who says you can't find inner peace amid the chaos, right? Now, onto the reviews. It seems like opinions are quite divided here. Some people absolutely love this place, praising the knowledgeable instructors and the wide variety of classes offered. One reviewer even mentioned that they had a "mind-blowing" experience during their visit. That's quite a statement! On the other hand, a few reviewers were less enthusiastic, mentioning issues with overcrowding and feeling a bit overwhelmed.Taking all this into consideration, I'd give this yoga studio a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. It seems like a decent option for yoga enthusiasts visiting Kansas City, especially if you don't mind a bit of urban energy during your practice. Just make sure to check the class schedule beforehand to avoid any potential overcrowding.

Kimberly Hall's yin yoga class was perfection. What a beautiful session. I only wish there were more day yin classes at Darling.

I recently moved to Overland Park and wanted to try a yoga studio near my home. I called before coming on Sunday about the Yin yoga class, the gentleman was very nice and welcoming and told me I could attend the class, he did not mention any sort of drop-in fee or any new member specials. I arrived 15 minutes early, I stated I was new to the area and looking to try a class and was charged $20 as a drop-in fee. It is understandable to charge a fee, however when I looked online after there was a new member special that I was not offered. The class was cut short 15 minutes but I paid the full drop in fee, the class was fine, based on other studios it is not worth the money. As a consumer, it is unfair that the business would make me do all the research possible instead of offering the specials to me.
