The staff are just wonderful here. Very patient with the kids and they have a top notch facility complete with a gym! Perfect over the winter for the kids to run around in. One of our favorite parts are all the small animals in classrooms that the kids can help with and play with. Very happy we found Canterbury!

Excellent facility. We've been coming here for a few years with our 2 boys, and really trust the folks at Canterbury. They are great at communicating and very accommodating of any needs. They handled the pandemic exceptionally well, and always felt safe sending our kids into the facility once it reopened.

Responsive and Communicative. The entire daycare, from management to the staff, are always communicating with us about our Children. The way they have navigated hardship during COVID has been professional, and truly focused on health of children and staff. We love that anytime we call or send an email, we get an extremely fast response, and they are proactive with getting information to parents. Also, special shout out to Miss Nikki and Miss Larissa for stealing the hearts of my kids :).

My son has been going here since he was just a couple months old right now two and a half. He so loves it! He asks to go to school daily, and is so sad and bored if we can't go. The teachers and leadership have always been ridiculously kind and gracious. We've been so impressed by how much he's learned how quickly his language and social skills have developed, all of which is a huge credit to Canterbury. I recommend them to everyone. As a working mom they make me feel so much better about what my son does with his time. We've been especially impressed with how well they've handled all the chaos and uncertainty of the pandemic. My daughter has been going here for a few months now and she loves it. She likes to play with her friends and learning new things. She loves her teachers too. Since she started I have noticed more of her personality coming out and been hearing her talk more. All of the staff has been great and I am fully comfortable leaving her there for the day. Communication with staff has been great. They have been great with keeping parents up to date on what’s happening in the building during the pandemic (like illnesses and staffing issues they’ve had during this hard time). Everything from her day is logged in a system and and email is automatically sent to me upon heck out. I can see what activities they did, what and how much she ate, if she napped and diaper changes. I even get pictures of her doing activities or playing with her friends and I can see how happy she is. I am really glad I found Small Beginnings for my daughter.

We have been enrolled with Small Beginnings for 2.5 years and could not ask for a better environment for our daughters. Our 3 year old loves going to school and can't wait to share with us what she has learned. The teachers do a wonderful job at keeping the children engaged with circle time, songs, learning activities, and interactive play. Our daughter's imagination and vocabulary has blossomed and I know Small Beginnings has played a huge role in this. Our younger daughter started in the infant room at age 6 months, and I love seeing the familiar faces that took care of our older daughter. Every teacher has been kind, caring, and approachable for any questions we have had along the way. The administrative staff is so personable and takes the extra step to make sure every family feels welcomed. They have gone above and beyond to create a safe environment during the pandemic. Canterbury Academy at Small Beginnings has been the perfect choice for our family, and we love watching our children grow and explore here!

Because we have moved a lot, our boys have attended a variety of both in home and daycare centers. I can hands down, 100% tell you that Canterbury is the absolute best experience we have had. B has truly never been happier, and that, to me, is priceless.As a Momma, I have finally found a peace of mind leaving my child in the care of someone other than myself, family, or friends. It is evident how much Mrs. Allyssa cares for and invests in her students well being and build their growth as a learner. I love seeing his pictures each day and really enjoy that "fly on the wall" perspective.As a kindergarten teacher, I am beyond impressed with all of the incredible things B has learned in Pre-K this year. He is more than ready for kindergarten, and I am a tough judge when it comes to kindergarten readiness, ha!

Every positive thing a parent would want in a learning environment/school!! The front staff is phenomenal and personable. The teachers (shout out Mrs.A) help grow and nurture while still having fun!! Liz and Jackie are always on top of questions or information ! This school is 15/10 would recommend time after time!!! Our daughter absolutely loves and looks forward to going to class! ?

All staff we have dealt with have been courteous and professional. My little one has LOVED all her teachers and clearly learns more everyday. Her conversations on the way home are full of tales of adventure and learning. The indoor gym is huge plus for helping her expend energy when weather is not accommodating for outdoor activities.

Our daughter went to Small Beginnings for 3 years and we loved every bit of the experience. Our daughter grew so much in those 3 years and we have seen her learn so much and blossom from an infant to a mature toddler. The teachers were amazing in each of her classrooms. The staff at the front desk and the administrative staff always had a smile on their face and always open to questions. The cook took special care in preparing the meals and also helped as needed. We have only good things to share and will really miss the school, the staff and the kids as we have moved out of town!

This is our son’s first year at Canterbury and he is in private kindergarten. He was at another school from infant to pre-k, but we decided not to do private kindergarten there and since he is an August birthday we did not think he was ready for the bigger classroom at the public elementary school. His teacher, Ms. Marion, is the most kind, patient and brilliant teacher. She also teaches excellent content and he is learning so much each day. The entire staff has been helpful from the beginning, especially as we worked through some behavior issues. I can’t say enough good things about this school. It’s been life changing for our entire family.

I wrote a positive review 2 years ago when my daughter was less than a year old. We've been with this school ever since and now my almost 3.5 year-old continues to grow, learn, and thrive in the wonderfully supportive environment at Small Beginnings. The school directors continue to be very accommodating and all of the staff genuinely cares about the kids and families that attend the school. My daughter loves going to school everyday!

I can't say enough about how much we love Canterbury Academy! Our children have been attending this location for 2 years and their level of care, attention, curriculum quality, and enrichment are unmatched. The director and staff are so involved and committed to helping and teaching the children and listening to the parents. It was no surprise when they handled the stress and uncertainty of the pandemic gracefully and professionally.After previous bad experiences at another daycare in the area, it was really difficult for us to trust a daycare again. Thanks to Canterbury I'm so relieved knowing my children are so well taken care of every day they are there.

If you are looking for a safe, educational, and fun place for your child to go to school, I would definitely recommend Canterbury! The teachers and staff are wonderful, kind, answer all of your questions and are so personable with every pick up, drop off, and phone call! Plus our son just loves going to school! His teachers pay attention to where he excels and challenge him, but also nurture the areas where he struggles. We literally could not ask for more from this school! He is excelling beyond what we could have imagined ahead of starting kindergarten and we have Canterbury to thank for that!
