The leasing agent was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the apartments and all the amenities.

The apartments in Cambridge Square are excellent. The rooms are decent and roomy in terms of units. They do have a good-sized fitness center and pool. The maintenance department ensures that their tasks are completed on schedule. Issues should be fixed without delay. Furthermore, Aliyah excels in managing tenants when it comes to property management. She assisted us during the whole leasing procedure. I met two more folks at the leasing office, but I can't remember their names ?.They were all incredibly kind and helpful.

Do you like thin walls? poor insulation? dirty neighbors that attract pests? Well you've find the proper dump to shove 6 of your friends into a one bed one bath;) Only at Cambridge do you get the exclusive right to price hikes but also a packed parking lot! not only is the walk nice, once you pass all the cigarette butts and dog feces you can walk into the hallway that's never been cleaned(dont forget to say hi to the spiders) next turn the key on the door that has the worst weather seal ever and walk into pest heaven. perfect for all bugs all year round, plenty of cracks and gaps along the malfunctioning windows for easy access. the 3rd floor is the penthouse due to the AC UNIT BEING ON THE GROUND LEVEL FOR A THIRD FLOOR UNIT??? this way the tenant never gets to have it below 75 all summer. Sounds to good to be true? just wait theres more. All the cabinets come pre-warped and mildewed, plus the red chalk line on all the white unpainted cabinets is so modern. Do you also love being able to see all the trim joints? bc i love the crown molding that looks like was done by the office staff with drunk goggles on. they reuse carpet, lay laminate on laminate, dont paint, dont even do a make ready really. i absolutely despise this place and my neighbors. but the valet trash service really makes it all worth it

PREFACE: fully understand the lease break fee in the contract... review is just based on customer service from management team.
Absolute garbage customer service upon moving out... don't fake knowing I'll have to pay the fee and then tell me face to face that everything is paid and all that will be taken out of deposit is utilities, then send me to collections for lease break. If I knew there was a payment needed to be made on my account post move out, I would have planned accordingly. Until 3 months later and they hit me with a bill of $2200 and I find out from collections. Never once was told how or when to get it paid before they sent it to collections.
ADVICE: For the next tenant that moves out early, please let them know upfront that that fee will be on their account and when it is ready to be paid so they are not in the same boat.

Just renewed my lease for a 4th year. Great community there could be updates to the insulation however that is with any apartment. The office staff is very friendly and maintenance is top notch! Hopefully there will be community gatherings which used to happen….. overall a great place to call home!

I lived here for 3 years. It was pretty average. The amenities are decent and mostly adequate but nothing special. Free coffee and wrapping station in the clubhouse. The apartment itself was ok. They had just replaced the countertops with granite which was nice but they didn't replace the carpet which seemed pretty worn to me and when it was humid, it smelled bad. I didn't notice a super high energy cost like some others. I'd say it seemed high for such a small place but not outrageous. Maintenance always came very quickly when needed, which for me was not very often. My one real gripe, and this is pretty big, is that it's not very safe. Not in terms of personal safety, but cars. My truck was stolen one year. I bought another and it was broken into (broke my rear window) several months later. This is NOT uncommon over there. When my truck first got stolen, many other cars were hit too. Management sent out a memo saying that they'd be hiring security. I literally saw security drive through the complex ONE TIME about a week later and never saw them again. What a joke. The rent increases were not THAT bad. Overall, it was a decent place to live. The highway noise isn't bad inside but it's awful on the balcony. I wasn't even in a unit near the highway and it was still pretty loud. If you go look at them, just beware of how loud it is near the unit you're looking at if it's something that might bother you. Also just beware of the thieves that seems to run through there about twice a year. I'd consider getting a garage if I had to live there again.

Like most other negative reviews my complaints center around the high energy costs, excessive rent hikes at renewal, and lack of response from office staff.
Be prepared for energy cost and usage that is double the national average. Expect to pay an average of $200 a month for electricity in a 1 bed 1 bath unit.
This complex was built in 2002 but in my opinion as a construction professional, has the integrity of something built in the 80’s. None of my windows operate properly and there are visible cracks in my walls and ceiling. Lack of insulation is apparent in the high energy costs. You can hear every move your neighbors make due to the thin walls. During spring, summer, and fall its impossible to keep the bugs out because of the gaps in the windows. There are several places where dryer vent covers on the exterior of the building are broken. This presents a significant fire hazard as critters can get in the vents and build nests. There are also exposed live wires around the property presenting electrical shock hazard. Broken/clogged gutters can also be found on property.
They will market this place as luxury when in reality it’s more of a lipstick on a pig situation. Appliances are dated and of the cheapest varieties. “Wood flooring” is LVP, counters in the bathroom are particle board covered with vinyl, the bathroom sink is plastic, and you can see every joint in the crown molding.
I was okay with all of these glaring issues when I moved in because I felt the rent was commensurate of them. However my rent has increased 45% in the three years I’ve lived here. Now they are trying to raise it an additional 15%.
The office staff is totally useless when it comes to addressing these issues beyond platitudes and empty promises. If you look through the reviews you will see many with the same issues have responses from Cambridge square saying they are “taking the issue seriously”. In my experience the only thing they take seriously is blowing you off.
Looking at reviews from 4+ years ago this might have been a great place to live in the past. However if you look at more recent reviews you will get a more accurate picture.
If your looking for an upscale option at the same price point check out Highlands Lodge (luxury apartments right across the street for $80 more a month). If you're looking for a better value or more budget friendly options check out the Corinth Collection.

The complaints i made here are the same as complaints that have been made over the past year. Either they cant solve the problem (incompetence) or they dont care. If they were sorry they would do something about it. They aren't even providing the best value on this block ( see Highland lodge, Village at Mission Farms, Mission 106). I have reached out directly - I went in person to the leasing office where my concerns were met with ignorant response and incorrect statements on industry standards. I then tried to call the Manager but apparently she doesn't work on Mondays. To be clear the maintenance staff is amazing but management must have missed a day or two at management school.
This company has removed at least 20 negative reviews. Beware their other unethical business practices

Typical apartment living. However, the people upstairs have a child that runs and stomps constantly. However, he sleeps when I do, so I know it could be worse. The grounds are kept nice and maintenance seems to be responsive to needs. In general it seems safe and secure.

Was great the first year I lived here. Moved to a different apartment in the same complex this year and it has been awful. Upstairs neighbors are incredibly loud at all times of the night. Keeps my room mate up all night and the complex won’t do anything about it. Noise at an apartment complex is expected of course, but there is a limit to how much is acceptable and it is completely unacceptable.

My fiancé and I with our 1yr old lived here for the 1 year lease. If could have left sooner we would have. Our experience here was terrible.
1. When we got the keys we did a walk through and noticed the whole apartment was never vacuumed nor whipped down. I had to clean it myself before moving all our stuff in.
2. Our light bill was nearly 400$ the first 3 months living there and the rest of the year was a consistent 170-230$ a month. None of the rooms stayed warmed during the winter. We had to buy heaters to keep us warm specially our baby. When our lease finally was up mid December our bill was 134$- that last week all the sudden went up 234$ for no reason and we weren’t even there. The due dates changed too and I paid it on the updated amount date to still get charged a late fee when I always pay my bills on time so not sure what’s all that about. I was over it.
3. Our fridge door broke twice and had to have someone come in when ever they had time could be all day waiting and I’m being extra couscous it doesn’t fall on my toddler using something to hold it closed.
4. Our washer and dryer sucked. We had to literally wash it twice just so the dirty water smell wasn't on our clothes/ the dryer we had to dry our clothes twice so it would completely dry. They had someone come out to “fix” but reality they need new washer and dryer’s.
5. Both of our cars got hit they were parked right next to each other and when my fiancé went outside to warm up the car before leaving work noticed both of our cars got hit and he was heated. He woke me up and I did a police report and went up to the office see if they had any cameras that maybe seen who did it and I got told no cameras if they see anyone call regarding this hit and run they’ll reach out to us. Never heard anything from anyone. We had to come out of pocket and fix BOTH our vehicles. So disappointing.
6. The gym room is always dirty and the 1 time I went to the pool was dirty so never went again. Specially with my 1 yr old.
Overall from the office staff to the apartment situation I may be missing some other stuff I had to deal with. Everyone’s all friendly at first before signing your lease but never wants to take care of the situations going on. I wouldn’t recommend this place it’s just stressful and you’re just literally waiting for your lease to be up to get out.

When I moved in, I moved with the hope that this might be one of the best places I've moved into. It was spacious with an affordable rent. But come first month, I've got an electricity bill of 367$ for a 1 bed 1 bath. The lack of insulation is truly appalling. It can be visible on looking at other reviews underneath and a standard response that they're taking it seriously but nothing to show otherwise. Still, I've persisted but when it was time to renew my lease they've increased the monthly rent by 17%. And once when it rained, water dripped from the ceiling at different places. And except Chloe at the leasing office, everyone else talks to you like you're some sort of bother. The only good thing going for the place is that it's maintenance is pretty fast. But you'd be getting some sort of issue every month that you'd stop appreciating it after a while.
But the main thing is insulation. You can talk to the office before you move in and ask them about it. You might probably get a roundabout answer that they're aware of this and currently looking into it. And they'll keep looking until you move out.

I wanted to love it here. But I am truly appalled at the lack of attention to insulation. I understand having a small surge in your heating/electric bill during cold spells, But my heating bill is going to be $375 for a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment. I keep my heat at 65 degrees and never change it. Cold air POURS through all the windows and doors. I feel drafts of frigid air through the floors of my kitchen and through the cabinets. It is ridiculous to be paying that kind of amount of money for such a small space. The apartment is NEVER warm and the thermostat is constantly on trying to sustain just 65 degrees. This is appalling and I should not have to pay that type of money because of the lack of attention of air leaks throughout the apartment. I will not be staying here again once the lease is over. I truly see this as a beautiful complex but it needs a lot of renovating and to be reinsullated. This is a joke to see the bill this high. Seriously rethink moving in/living here until these problems are dealt with appropriately. I’m paying the ultimate price. This is a serious problem.

Taylor, the leasing agent, is scaring people away from this place with her rudeness.
