Burnett Automotive thoroughly inspected my car. They were very honest and detailed in providing feedback. The price was extremely fair. I will definitely use them again.

My Jeep Wrangler broke down on a Sunday near Burnett Automotive on Metcalf, Overland Park. I initially requested a tow to the Jeep dealership as the issue seemed complex. Mechanical and electrical components were suspect. But when the tow truck advised that the dealership was gated and we couldn’t drop it off on Sunday I took a chance and asked him to tow me to Burnett Automotive across the parking lot. This turned out to be the right decision.
Next morning at 7 am Steve discussed my issue in detail. He advised that they were busy but he understood my situation and worked me in. By 3 pm I received a document with the diagnosis and estimate. Repair would be completed next day at 9 am! Fantastic and quick service.
When I went to pick up the vehicle It was running back normal. But I noticed auto stop/start service light was on. I failed to specify that this was an issue I needed corrected and when I mentioned this they advised I leave the vehicle but might be tight squeeze to look at next day.
Next day I got a call from Steve stating he decided to look at it himself between his other scheduled services and was able to sort the problem and repair it and it was ready.
The team was quick, courteous, knowledgeable in my Jeep vehicle , and did twice the diagnostics and repair within 3 days. For what I believe was a very fair price I suspect much lower than you would pay at a dealership.
I hope to never have issues again with my vehicle but if I did I will be visiting Burnett Automotive on Metcalf , Overland Park.

Burnett worked to fit in an inspection last minute for a used car I was looking to purchase. They did a thorough job and gave me honest feedback about the car at a fair price. I definitely recommend their services and trust them!

Not only do they do a fantastic job, on time, and with a fair price, but they do not try to fix things that are not broken. They are honest and trustworthy which is so hard to find. I will not go anywhere else.

My Chevy Equinox had a nail in one tire and upon further inspection, I needed 4 new tires due to wear and tear. Gunter helped me and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Burnett Automotive.

We moved recently to a neighborhood closer to Burnett. We have 3 cars and were looking for a new nearby mechanic. My highlander rear window was not working and took it there. They charged $85 for assessment. Then told me that the regulator is bad and charged total of $500 which included $85 labor for assessment and $125 labor to fix it. I told them why the assessment charge is not part of repair hours, since they already opened everything. They said that they had spent a full hour to assess the problem!
Well got it done. and it stopped working the next day. Took it back to them. They spent lot more time and found out that some gasket went bad. They said they won't charge labor (they estimated it to be $65!) and charged $40 for part. My question is - they spent quite sometime to find the cause the second time and their estimate for labor for checking again and for replacing the part is $65!!! Now, i even wonder if the regulator is bad.
I really think I have been overcharged for labor. Time to look for another mechanic. Won't recommend them.

I'd like to express my thanks to Gunter for going the extra mile for working with the extended warranty company for my vehicle. In addition, when there was an unexpected issue, he jumped right in to remedy. His customer service is top notch.

Friendly and honest. Busy, be prepared to leave your car for several hours. But that's a good sign that they do good work and trusted.
