We were initially hesitant due to the price but it was totally worth it. Two parents plus 11 & 13 year old girls. We paid for two hours and it was just about the right amount of time. We were getting tired by the end. We honestly did not do great on the rooms as far as getting to 100 points but we had a lot of fun together and the kids are still talking about it a few days later so that's a win for me!

This was one of the best nights out I've had in a while. My friend and I had so much fun spending two hours doing mini challenges and escape rooms we had lots of laughs, were physically and mentally challenged, and really enjoy the uniqueness of this space. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating and explained the rooms very well. Definitely a must visit place if you end up in the area.

It was our first time, but our family of 4 really enjoyed figuring out the puzzles using our brains and bodies. Two hours was about perfect. Definitely will go back!

Instead of presents with bows for Christmas this year, we purchased this experience for our family. Best. Gift. Ever! We had so much fun and made incredible memories!

What a cool evolution of the team building/escape room idea into something longer, more social and repeatable. Come prepared - it’s more physical than you expect and you will work up a sweat. But it’s fun even for large groups - splitting up and talking about things that one group did that the others didn’t even see is half the fun. Hope this spreads to other locations!

Around 10 years ago my family tried out our first break out room. Since then every family trip we have done at least one break out room. We've done breakout rooms in Chicago, NYC, the Philippines, Arizona, Colorado, etc. My brother took a course on break out rooms and my family considered starting our own breakout room business in our city. All this to say, my family is PASSIONATE about breakout rooms and has seen quite a few different types of business plans. We have also been to a different BRKTHROUGH in Arizona, and this one in KC is absolutely phenomenal! We paid for 4 hours and around 3-3.5 was perfect for us. We were in groups of 3-4 and thought that that was a good size for most puzzles. There were a few puzzle rooms out of order and a few that were kinda easy that could be improved, but overall we still had a great time and love how great of an activity this is for families, work teams, friends, etc. We went out to dinner before, so we didn't try anything on the menu, but there were quite a few drinks on tap! Margaritas, beer, etc! Great to know for next time. We look forward to seeing what new rooms open. Definitely a great evening out and about. Got in a mental and physical workout and just had fun being a kid again. Highly recommend stopping by for a few hours!

Had a wonderful time! The manager, Darin, was super attentive and made sure our large group had everything we needed! The food was wonderful. We had two people gluten free diets and both got to eat and drink. The games were super fun and interactive and allowed us all to compete. Overall a super fun place to hang out as a group! 5 stars isn't enough!

YOU NEED TO GO HERE! This place was so fun. Everything about it is amazing. Each room is unique and challenging in different ways. I was even sweating by the end of it! Staff was super nice and helpful. They also have beer that you can pour yourself and food that you can orders. PRO TIP order your tickets online and sign your waivers ahead of time.

Just left BRKTHROUGH with my husband on date night and talk about a blast! We love games and puzzles and this was the ultimate combination of both! We will most certainly be back with some friends and our kids when they're a little older!Shout out to the all the staff too! All were super friendly and helpful! Even while eating one took time to talk to us about the place and their hopes for the future of the business. Super excited to see this place grow to other cities! Will be reccomending to all friends and family! Oh and shoutout to my name twin Faith!

Extremely poor management. Booked a team builder for 7 people on Sunday night through the appointment calendar on Friday. The scheduled timing was 6:30-8:30. At 5:15, we were notified that the business would close at 8pm and the kitchen would close at 7:30. Brandon the manager on duty advised us that we had 2 options. Cancel the booking that was paid in full in advance and get a refund, or use the facility for a limited time and pay the full price. As this was a holiday team builder it greatly affected the evening negatively. After taking the refund we left for the evening. A follow-up call was then placed to Darren the operations manager on Monday, and he was quick to defend the "computer glitch" and then advised that due to the fact that we were elevated in the way we communicated with the manager after receiving the bad news and the impact to our event, that we did not deserve any additional options. In a city full of fun venues that supports superior customer service, this is not an establishment I would recommend.

My Gf has been wanting to come to BRKthrough for a while. We were in the area and decided to stop by. When you first walk in you sign a waiver, the pricing is reasonable at $30 bucks for two hours per person and $40 for four hours. After you finish paying you meet a “game master” they will go over how the bracelets work that open the rooms to the game rooms. On the outside of the rooms is a light that you put your bracelet up to that will activate that game. In two hours we nearly did every room! There are a ton of rooms and each room is a new challenge! Some were physical some where skill and the other was mental and some a combination of both.! The rooms are so much fun and super unique, it’s not just your basic escape rooms. You can do the same room as many times as you want to get all of the points for that room. We did not drink any alcohol but there was a ton of great option and as cheap as .55 cent an ounce on some. The food looked great but we ate before we came as we didn’t know they had a restaurant. My GF and I had a blast the entire duration and did not get bored once. If you’ve never been I’d recommend getting the four hours so you can spend time in each room! Highly recommend this place for a good date night or group activity with friends!

My husband, son and I had a great time here. The rooms were challenging, fun and you if decided you didn't want to do one, just walk out. Aren't trapped in one room stuck for 2 hours. Variety of challenges are made for everyone. Don't recommend you take young kids. Could be frustrating for them. At least middle school age, of not older.

I scheduled BRKTHROUGH as part of a bachelorette party weekend, and this was probably the highlight of the trip for us! Every room is completely different and completely unexpected! The two hours we were there flew by and we had an absolute blast creating some friendly competition. I can't wait to go back! (Or if BRKTHROUGH wants to expand to Omaha, I wouldn't be mad.)

I recently attended a corporate event at BRKTHROUGH, and it was my first visit to this place, or really any place of this sort!Spoiler alert: IT WAS A BLAST!!!There are dozens (yes, DOZENS!) of games for teams of four people to embark on, each in their own room (or set of rooms). There are different styles of games - some are mental, some are lightly physical - and a points system based on how well and quickly you complete the task or game in each room! While you're there, enjoying all the games, there's a leaderboard of all the active groups to track how you're doing! The game rooms all surround a commons area, of sorts, that serves food and beverages, and has some seating to enjoy said food and drinks. Yes - adult beverages are there, too! This place is PERFECT for team events, corporate events, birthdays....anything where you'd have at least four people to go around playing games!I was there for almost two hours, and we didn't make it to all of the games, or even close - so there are plenty to enjoy! Part of the fun is replaying games to raise and maximize your score! Some of them take a time or two to really understand the objective, and then you can focus on attaining the best score possible! Our event was awesome, and I plan to be back with my family in the future, and will definitely keep it in mind for future team-building events!
