The good: They got our stuff moved. They were courteous and reasonably careful.
The bad: We were quoted $390 but it ended up costingt $890 and took 7.5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment (first floor to first floor). We had everything boxed and ready, but they brought a truck that was too small and had to make two trips. We really hadn't budgeted a grand for a small move. The movers were nice but inexperienced and it ended up taking way longer and costing way more than it should have. :(

There is GOD. I will see you in Court. You stole my life savings belongings and collected storage fees for each month of storage. Where are my belongings Mr Andy Holmes? There is Almighty God. I will see you in court of law.
Very unprofessional and not to be trusted. Very disrespectful and non communicative. Bad customer service and uses bad language. Con and fraudulent. Initial Agreement is to Store in temperatures controlled building but goes and store customers very fragile belongings in open field in a bush depilated leaking open containers. Destroyed many valuables and missing 80% of content belongings. Mr Andy Holmes, CEO and company do not respond to messages and phone calls. Have to take drastic legal action. These are very bad folks and a very dangerous company to engage with. Class action should be taken by the Attorney General both in Mo and KS respectively.

I called once to schedule an appointment while speaking with the owner and everything seemed fine. But then i wanted to reschedule another day for 4pm. The same guy tells me "nooo that's too late" and when i politely asked "Well, don't you close at 6pm? I only have a few things and the drop off location is less than 10 minutes away so it should only take roughly 1 hour" He then proceeds to hang the phone up in my face. Not even giving me a chance to discuss a better time or even at least explaining how that would somehow be too inconvenient for them. These guys are exactly 3.2 miles away from me, so it's not like it would take them an hour or 30, 20, or even 10 minutes to drive to my home. So that just tells me they only work when they want to and will have an attitude about it for no real reason. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and a sorry work ethic. If you can't even be bothered to be a man of your word and commit to the service as you advertise then don't be in it at all.

I am truly disgusted. My mom whose husband passed away from cancer recently was trying to get things in order and move stuff so she hired box doctor. She had to get several things moved by October 1. On October 1, not only did box doctor cancel minutes before they were supposed to show up, they hung up on her when she got upset. I called to find out why they did this and all they said was they had other moving appointments and hung up on me. I’m totally in awe that people like this stay in business. Please-if you have other options, read these reviews and go with someone else. This Andy guy has a real problem with just hanging up on you if you’re unhappy that he doesn’t show. This has been a very very trying time for all of us and at the most basic level, They are just despicable human beings.Also, they will comment to others and make excuses for their awful behavior, tell you to contact their office-but I did. I was hung up on. Do not trust these folks, trust the reviews.

horrible. canceled on my mother minutes before they were supposed to show and then just hung up on her when she asked why. I called and did the same and they hung up on me. and the way this man talks to customers...awful. hes the kind of person that makes you lose faith in humanity he's so awful. go with someone else-it'll save you a lot of time and heartache. even if they do miraculously show, the owner Andy or whoever runs it doesn't deserve your money.

My items were damaged from box Dr. Moving my things. When I reached out to get compensation for the items that were broken, I was ignored, lied to, hung up on, and unable to leave a voicemail. Extremely unprofessional.

Do not use this company!! I booked a move with them last Tuesday for that Friday. They did not show up or return any of my phone calls. Thankfully I was able to find another company last minute but it was an extremely stressful situation.

Am I being Punk'd?!? Scheduled move w/ Andy weeks in advance, confirmed a few days out. Moving day comes... No show. Call Andy: "Movers tried to call you. They're finishing up another move from yesterday, should be heading your way shortly." Movers had not tried to call me and they never headed my way. Called Andy again a couple hours later: "Just talked to the movers, they should be wrapping up shortly to head your way." Eventually got a call from Mike hours later: "Should be done here in a couple hours. We WILL get you moved tonight." Spoiler: they did not. Question: Why string along potential customers if you never intend to move them? I could have gotten so much work done on moving day, but was instead forced to sit on my hands and wait for y'all. Absolutely atrocious. Do not waste your time or money on Box Doctor.

This is an unprofessional and poorly run company.In the process of moving my belongings from a house to a townhome on June 16, my $100 weighted blanket didn't arrive with the rest of my belongings. I wondered if it had gotten mixed in with the moving blankets, so texted the crew chief on June 17 and asked him to check his truck. After receiving no response, I texted again on June 19. On June 25, he responded that he did, in fact, have my blanket. I asked if he would prefer to drop it off at my home or meet me somewhere to return my blanket. He said he would drop it off at my home, and I provided my address.By July 3, I had not received my blanket. I texted the crew chief again and asked when he would be dropping off my blanket, and got no response. On July 14, I gave him a deadline of July 17, and said if he hadn't returned it by then I would call the owner.I called Andy, the owner, on July 18, and explained the situation. He said he would speak to the crew chief and tell him to return my blanket. I called again on July 26 and left a callback number, but got no response. On July 28, I called and reached Andy, and said I still hadn't received my blanket. He started to say, "It's just a blanket..." I told him it was a weighted blanket that had cost $100. He hung up on me and didn't pick up when I immediately called back.
