Bank of the WORST. Experts in smothering small business. Over $500 in bogus fees after 5 visits to try and solve an issue, given a bogus solution then calling in and being told that the solution bank provided me won't work. Corporate customer care no sympathy to reverse even though I was wrongly (spontaneously) fee'd out of insane amount of money. HORRIBLE. Unbelievable really. The folks at branch are nice but always understaffed an unable to keep up. Jennifer was nice and seemed supportive when I joined but promptly left branch for investments. I was poorly advised from then on and received no call backs when I had issue on my account (after FIVE promises to call back) Issue never resolved I needed to close all of my accounts to avoid further headache. Please save yourself the abuse and don't bank with them.

Pleas update your hours on Google, I've been banking with you for 3 years now and you're becoming less helpful every year.I understand that COVID is hitting everyone but you're decisions are making banking with you extremely frustrating.

The people that work here are fine people. The problem i have is with the bank. I am gone Quickly list 4 reasons why you shouldn'tt bank with this bank.1) 800 customer service sucks. You have to wait an hour and 15 minutes to speak to someone and when you do, they still don't help.2) They charge Overdraft fee even if you paid the amount you owe in the same day, they just say it didn't get processed until the next day and charge u $35. They got me two times. The first time they removed it but the second time they wouldn't even though it was there falt. That's why I'm closing my account and moving my money from this Bank.3) To transfer my money from bank to bank I use zelle. But JPMorgan the owner of Zell has limited the use of it for Bank of the West. customers can only transfer $5,000 a month per customer when other Banks get more, I assume this is because it's a small bank, but still an convenient.4) Very limited branches and ATM close early too. Not convenient for customers at all.All and all, it's not a bank for 2021.

If I could give zero stars I would. Atm shut down in the middle of a deposit on a Saturday. No help from the main customer service 800 number. I have sent messages and social media posts with absolutely no responses. I cannot believe the lack of response in fixing an issue YOUR machine caused. I am not going away and will not accept any less than you making this right.

I was a member here for 15 years, since I was 16. Not that they cared when I finally left. They have charged insane overdraft fees, they accidentally canceled my debit card once thinking it was for another customer and had to mail me a new one that took two weeks to arrive, they had website issues and I was unable to look at my bank account for 3 days and the support lines were unresponsive. The list goes on. My point is that this place is poorly ran, they are losing people to banks that offer much better services — my current one allows me to use any atm without a fee, has zero hidden or overdraft fees, and allows multiple web-based tools to manage your money. At bank of the west, you’ll be harassed to get a credit card with them every time you go to the window.

Jennifer Garcia has excellent customer service. She was very helping and awfully knowledgeable about the products at the bank. She even stayed after hours to make sure we were completely taken care of.

I've worked with Jennifer Garcia on numerous occasions and she has singled-handedly retained my business not once but twice. I have experienced unforeseen family loss, and financial burden due to COVID, and Jennifer has done everything in her power to go above and beyond for my family. CAN I DO LESS THAN 1 STAR?!? DO NOT EVER USE THIS BANK FOR A BOAT LOAN OR FOR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER. SAD THAT SOMEONE WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR JUST TO GET YOU THROUGH THE DOOR. SAD TO SEE SUCH INCOMPETENCE.
