“We were married November 11, 2023. When we found out our venue closed unexpectedly just 9 days before our big day, we thought we would have to give up a lot of what we wanted and had already planned. The Lincoln Event Space not only came to our rescue but went above and beyond to help deliver the most magical day even though it meant an unusual timeline, a somewhat chilly ceremony setup, and quick inside flip. Not only is the space unique and beautiful but all of the staff was kind and courteous. Our favorite details - the courtyard, natural light, unique history, speakeasy, and in-house decor. Their space and amenities set them apart while their service makes them shine creating an overall wonderful experience. When they found out there was a Veterans Day Parade that started at the same time as our coffee hour, Blake obtained as much information as possible including an alternate arrival route for our guests. They communicated clearly, were very responsive to our questions and worked closely with our wedding planner to basically plan a wedding in less than a week. Our wedding day ended up being more than we could have ever imagined and it wouldn’t have been possible without The Lincoln and their staff. Further, Ottawa is a great, accepting community - all of our guests had a good experience with hotel accommodations, getting around town, and the local shops.
