Sat at the drive thru for 20 minutes with no service. No customers in the store. Rang bell twice. When I went in, I asked the kid if no one runs the drive thru anymore and was met with sarcasm and rudeness. Will not return to this business! Do better.

You don't try to blackmail a family over a kid stealing $2 on candy. Especially when the patent came back in did the correct thing. Bad business practice in such a small town. Word of mouth travels fast. I see the Facebook page is down. Word of mouth spreading fast about this horrible business.

I personally have never had a bad experience at this place. Prices are always fair. It is my go to place to fuel up. I would recommend this place to anyone.

If the other child's family already paid the $50 normally awarded to employees for catching shoplifters, how can you ask the first girl's family to also pay $50? Where does that money go? In some "shoplifter expense fund?" Or does the employee receive $100 for catching two juvenile shoplifters? This is not an acceptable business practice and reeks of extortion. The owner should have left well enough alone after being reimbursed for the $50 he awards to employees. Additionally, it seems like an expensive practice, as I doubt the majority of shoplifters are making off with merchandise exceeding $50 in value.

I went there looking for a new IPA. Asked if they had any made with clover or bluegrass and the staff didn't seem very knowledgeable. After making my selection I went to purchase my grass brews and upon hoofing it out of there I was promptly chased down by an employee and accused of theft. Apparently a piece of gum was stuck to my fleece and they threatened to sheer me for the expenses... SHEER ME.

We have always had a great experience doing business at Blu Sky! We’ve had special orders that the owners have gone above and beyond to supply our requests when they can. The convenience and location of this store is an asset to Ottawa. Also, a shout out to Chaz and Melissa who have both fulfilled orders for me over the phone in a pinch and had it ready to go at the drive through. Another great service of theirs! Wonderful staff and ownership!

Never had an experience here, but I do go through Ottawa a lot and will never patronize this business. Word of mouth does travel fast across this state, and I like my businesses to be honest and not extort and bribe people or children for money. What you are doing is just as dishonest. Js

The audacity of this place. There are better places to buy booze. Imagine being a parent that's trying to teach a young child that stealing is wrong and making them pay for the candy bar, only to have the owner demand you pay $50 or face legal trouble. Trash.

Longtime customer of Blue Sky and on good terms with Kirby the owner. He knows I’m handicapped and when he installed a drive through I was ecstatic. One day in drive through he asked me to come inside without giving reason. Went right in and he was milling about in the back, after about 5 minutes I gave up and left. Some customer service that is!!
