Olathe is growing, expect longer lines, and slower service.I can only review my personal experience. My mailman is great, he always has a good attitude and I enjoy talking to him.At the Chestnut location I've dealt with Richard and he's always been helpful and friendly. These USPS workers deal with bad attitudes all day, so if they seem a little off you know why. Don't come in here if you're in a hurry, you might have a long line ahead of you.

Last time I came in here to scan and drop a package but the package drop was jammed and wouldn’t open. This time I tried scanning at the kiosk and it wouldn’t accept my prepaid label. Not sure what is going on with this location but it’s super frustrating when all I need to do is drop off and get a receipt. I don’t have time during normal hours.

Always great service at this location. Sometimes they're a little understaffed and the line to get help at the counter can seem a little long, but it has almost always moved fairly quick for me. The employees working the counter have been a pleasure to talk to every time I've been here. I enjoy coming to this post office when I need to send a package or get any special postal service.

I don't have anything negative to say about my local postal service office (Olathe).I prefer USPS for me and for my Handmade Soap business. I've never received any complaint from my customers.PS. We have the best mail man, I don't know his name but he is professional and a great person.

This is the worst post office I have ever encountered. If you are waiting on a package then get ready to wait. They consistently say they couldn't deliver due to obstruction or no access to door when zero attempt was made. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I reported a couple of missing packages to USPS - mistakes are bound to happen. Mr. Reed was able to locate where they were misdelivered and get them to me very quickly. Thank you!

Bad experience with the passport man he was so rude and he was also racist to us. We came earlier than our appointment, the post office was empty. He took the picture of the newborn baby but he never gave me the printed copy. He made us wait 45 minutes just to print the picture off but he never printed it out. All I wanted is just to take a picture for the newborn for his passport.

Waited in line 3 people to serve 2 decided to go on break at 4pm and then the one lady left literally took 30 minutes on one client. I left 10 plus people came in and no movement. Never seen a post office run so poorly in 5 decades.

There is a reason this place has TERRIBLE reviews. I made an appointment for 10:45 for a passport. Signed up for text alerts AND email alerts. Didn’t receive either. When I arrived they said the appointment was for 10:15am LOL! They didn’t even care I had proof. There was zero people in line. They could have done the right thing. The USPS will become obsolete soon because the service has and always will be TERRIBLE!!!!

Will not return. I would rather spend $20 on gas to drive somewhere else vs dealing with these rude people. If you don't want to work with people find another job. IF you need one strip of tape of your package please be prepared to buy a roll because THIS particular location is too rude to give you one strip of tape.

Highly disappointed. when I got there on Thursday I told the older gentleman I needed to send the package out and needed them to get there by Sunday, so he said priority mail. Almost done, I see 2 day shipping, so I make sure to mention again "so this one will guarantee them there by Sunday?" And he said "no, it'll be Tuesday" so I said "can I do overnight then, I need to get them there by Sunday" so he gave me attitude and said "it'll cost you and arm and a leg. And I have to do everything again" ... I started the WHOLE conversation with "need them there by Sunday". And above that, told him the package was important, and well look at how it got there. If anybody has suggestions on any other services that will CARE about packages, please let me know.

Numerous damaged product shipments both in and out of this post office. We have never received several business payments through our PO Box. After making claims, the supervisor emails back that they are looking into it, never does, when you follow up then they need everything and still deny it even though we have video and photo proof inside the post office and at our house of damaged boxes with employees.
