When I first arrived I could tell that this shop had been here for years and that's what gives it it's homey feel. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by the hottest female that I've ever seen work in any mechanic shop in my entire life. That guaranteed them my money, but I couldn't let them know that.Melissa, the hottie, went above and beyond the call of duty by making sure I was not only taken care of, but taken care of fairly. Ray, Mr. Boss Man, had all the answers, and really knew what he was taking about! He made me feel as though my vehicle was in good hands and I didn't have to worry about my change coming up missing out of my cup holder, like some *other* shops.Great service.Fantastic prices.Quick and expert service.Melissa is hot.10/10 would highly recommend

Customer service like you used to be able to expect from a tire shop. Smells like grease and smoke... Just like a good tire shop should. They got me in for a quick flat repair when everyone else was telling me tomorrow or wait and we might get to it.

I have been going here for many year's. My oldest daughter she is who turned my attention to get my tires replaced here. Like I said I've been going back every single time I buy a new car or different car I leave my Wheels tires in there hands. Plus I've always liked people who are just people like myself. Sorry didn't have pictures of my tires. But this is for the lady who has a daughter named ? Bee!

Ray gave me a price over the phone and his knowledge of the tire business was impressive. Said he'd been "rolling tires since 1962." That was enough for me to stop shopping and make the purchase. Ray explained why I didn't need top-of-the-line tires and recommended a brand he's been selling for several years. I am surprised how smooth and quiet they are. Online reviews reflected they are good tires. It's too soon to tell, but I'm feeling like they were the right choice. The parking situation is awful at this Olathe location. They do not have a fancy show room or fancy waiting room. It's a tire shop. Keep that in mind if you're looking for a price on tires. They are selling tires without the fluffy fancy extras. They did cover my floor mat and seat which was nice. The steering wheel was filthy, but I was able to clean it without too much effort.I would recommend Tire City if buying tires is your goal.

Same people that own the one in Independence own the store under the same name same owner and management team and philosophy. So here we go. I have been going to Tire City for a few years now. I've gotten used tires, alignments and oil changes the last couple of years. I've never had any issues with their work before. So on 3/24/23 I took my Dodge Caravan in for brakes. After calling around they were competitive on price and the had an opening. I thought great I'd rather go there anyway because I could trust them....Here's where it gets interesting... they put brakes on and turned my rotors I was cool. I took my van off the lot and my brakes were squeaking. My brother told me it could take 3-4 day for the brakes and rotors to marry I also looked online and heard a lot of people say spray some brake cleaner on it. So I did, it never stopped. I went back the next week they acted stupid like they had no idea who I was. But I had my receipt and they took my van back there. 30 minutes later they say "you're all good" I asked why the issue was... they said well we sprayed brake cleaner on it and it should be fixed... I said I've already done that maybe you guys could do it better...?The next day I'm driving and my brakes are squeaking again.... And I mean like nails on a chalkboard squealing. So went back and said "nope still not working...." So they ordered me new pads and told me that it was my fault for pressing my brakes to hard.... because my pads "glazed over" or "crystallized". So I looked it up and it says that this problem it normally caused by the brakes getting too hot... which would come from the rotors being too thin. So, it's even 3 days and this stuff is still messed up.... So I talked with my brother and we went to O'Reilly's and got a pair of brakes and rotors for about $255and I put them on myself. So afterwards I took my van back up there and showed them their receipt and my O"Reilly's receipt. I told them I spent $255 on my brakes and rotors because you couldn't do them right... the first thing out this dude mouth is "you should've brought it back."I stood there kind of felt insulted , because he really wanted me to bring them my car for more work. Like he really said that, I was floored. I said "I brought it to y'all 3 times and it ain't fixed.... I'm not doing that. I want my $311 back." He said "nothing I could do about it, you should've brought us the van and we would've fixed it." I have no idea what planet they live in, but it ain't earth. So he calls a manager at the Olathe(Ray) and he says "well I don't know about the Manager in Independence(Charlie), but I'm a brake guy and I would've done that in the beginning, maybe we can give you a $90 credit on an alignment...?" I responded "You really think I'll let you touch my car huh? Well I brought three times they couldn't do it... how do I get my money back?"He said "we are not authorized to do that... that would come from the owner... and talking to us is going to be better than talking to him we are nicer than he is." I told him "I'll take my chances, what's his name and office number?" Ray responded "oh I can't give you that." I told him "I should've said that about my $311." So I'm out $311 on something that now I know how to do myself I'm going to do that. Just for fun here are the receipts.... I am a independent business owner and that $311 has set me back a little bit. And I don't want it to happen to nobody else.... I won't be returning unless they have a check for me.

I had an incident in Olathe in my 2019 Chevrolet Cruze, and had the car towed to Tire City, and Ray was on top of it, at the time of the incident, it wasn't able to be fixed that evening, but he said the following day it could be done, got a motel room for the night and went back the next day, and Ray along with his Tech got it in and done as soon as they could, and did an exceptional job. Ray was very down to earth, and a fun guy to visit with. If I'm ever in Olathe again and need anything car related, Tire City will be my go to place.

They didn’t install the rims and tires correctly. They didn’t own up to their mistakes. The owner doesn’t care. They did $700 worth of damage not installing correctly. Bad owner bad company.

Amazingly refreshing customer care. For the minutes I was there getting a tire replaced, I witnessed customers in front of me have their own perceived problem explained which ultimately led to them not spending a cent in a situation that I’m sure many other shops would’ve used as an opportunity to stack a big bill together. This place is practically a throwback to a time of just plain good customer relations and letting the work do the advertising. I’ll DEFINITELY be back and wholeheartedly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Busy shop. I just needed my tire pressure checked. Ray explained the process, who they had as priority and I was out in less that 20 minutes. The gentleman who serviced my tires advised me of the proper PSI and sent me off with blessings. Would recomend.

I prefer a small mom and pop type service business. It feels like I get better SERVICE. Ray is great. Be patient and he will take his time and give you his full attention. He my not be the cheapest every time but i feel like he definitely gives me a fair price. Unlike the big tire companies I've been to.
