The afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 18th, I went into PetSmart grooming salon to schedule an appointment on Monday, Feb. 19th at 11:30 AM for my dog, Bandit. Vanessa told me that bandit was all set and she would see me at 11:30 AM the next day. Then I received emails from Vanessa for: Confirming the appointment: 1#. Wrong dog, wrong time, correct day. #2. Wrong dog, wrong day, wrong time (appt. was for 11am on Sunday, Feb. 18th and I received the email on Feb. 18th at 5:03pm SIX hrs after appt. day/time)! I called, spoke with Vanessa, told her the appt's were for the wrong dog and the wrong time. She told me to just bring in the right dog at 11:30. I asked for an email confirmation, she said her system would not let her send it. Next I received a cancellation for the #3. right day, right time, wrong dog. Then confirmation for #4. right dog, right day, wrong time. Then Email cancellation for #5. wrong dog, correct time, correct day! Petsmarts email confirmation indicates 1-3 hrs for appt. I called after 2.5 hrs to see if I could pick her up. Vanessa insisted she told me 2-3 hrs. Received #6. "Bandit is ready to pick up" three and a half hours after drop off. 7. Appointment emails I received on 2.18 from Petsmart! When I went into Petsmart at 2:40pm to pick up Bandit. Vanessa told me that because I was so difficult to schedule and had an issue with my dogs pick up time being 3.5 hours after the appt, she had gone to her manager and Bandit was not allowed to come back for grooming. Unbelievable. I had moved to KC in July and had taken both dogs before to this Petsmart with no issues. Maybe 1 out of 15 of my reviews are negative. I could not let this one go without alerting others to avoid Petsmarts' mistakes and miscommunication. Vanessa blamed this on ME!

These folks are the best. They stand behind their products and I always leave feeling good about my visit. Even started using Banfield Pet Hospital. My dog gets all excited when we pull up in front the store. He knows the sign. Clean. Organized. Friendly. Helpful. Whoever is recruiting for these guys is doing a Cracker Jack job!!!

My dog desperately needed her nails clipped on Monday evening. The staff was friendly and my wait wasn't too long for a walk-in.

Staff is wonderful but I always have to wait forever checking out. Need more checkouts especially on weekends. Deters me coming often unless I really need something there.

They were holding a dog/cat house for me. I told them a medium, and they held a small one. Luckily, they had all three sizes. They had a cyber Monday price, which they honored. They were true to their word. Great job, PetSmart!!!

I by far prefer PetSmart over Petco. So much so that I drive a great distance further to get to PetSmart. However I have noticed that almost all pet stores have phased out their lesser priced dog treats and foods and only carry the higher priced items which I find disheartening. So I've opted to start getting all my dog foods and treats delivered from Chewy. But I do still get my dog halters, collars, leashes, beds and stuff at PetSmarr because they have such good sales and I prefer to be able to pick those out myself by actually seeing and touching them. As for dog toys I buy them somewhere else altogether.

Great customer service! And very helpful in answering questions. Everyone was kind even though my dog insisted on barking non stop the whole time. ( He’s a coonhound so if you know how obnoxiously loud and incessant they can be!)

Went in today to get some boosmani to help break up some aggression in my cichlid tank and because they’re great fish.I asked the older gentleman there to grab some for me and he was clearly not happy even though I offered to do it myself as I would have had a much easier time. Not one fish had a mark on them while observing in their tank and I get home and sure enough fin rot on every single one of them and they clearly are underfed. (Just because you feed the “right” amount doesn’t mean they’re getting enough with competition..)I will not be taking them back as i know what will happen if I do and I can treat them at home and have them restored in no time. Already in hospital tank with a dash of salt and some sea guard. They look 10x better already. My point in writing this is to explain that most individuals do not understand my hobby and even if the ones that do and have wanted an aquarium are usually one and done because you let parents and kids who lack the knowledge of basic water chemistry to abuse bettas in a 5 gal water bowl with no filtration and act shocked when they die in a few weeks. The employees clearly are not into what they’re doing and it shows by how they act and the stressed/sick fish they have on hand. Please do better and stop the quick sell.I’m glad you included asking for tank size. I’m sure the bala sharks and Pleco returns were through the roof.Let these kids and young adults have the best shot at getting to enjoy the aquarium life as I do. Getting to enjoy sea life at home is pretty cool and I bet you could help others see that too.
