My experience at McCarthy was very positive. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and helpful Jamie my salesman was over and beyond and being helpful and never making me feel rushed or pressured. I would definitely recommend them.

We purchased a new vehicle at McCarthy and had Alan Gallegos to help us. He did a good job of helping us look over the vehicle we wanted and was knowledgeable. Best part, we did not feel like we were being sold, but rather being helped. Good work and our first plug-in hybrid.

I want to share my experience with the Kia I purchased from Mccarthy Subaru in Lawrence, Kansas in July 2023. Shortly after the purchase, I encountered multiple significant mechanical issues, which I promptly reported to the dealership. Within six days of purchasing the car, I noticed vibrations while driving on the highway, experienced major transmission issues including hesitancy going into gear and stalling out on the highway, as well as steering clunking noises and a creaking sound going over bumps. These issues should have been covered under the 30-day/1000-mile warranty.
I diligently notified the dealership and my car was in the service shop approximately 8-9 times, totaling over 60 days. Despite their efforts, the initial attempts to solve the problems, such as installing different suspension parts, did not resolve the issues. Shockingly, the dealership didn’t even inspect the transmission to understand the gear shifting hesitancy, nor did they check the transmission fluid. Even after multiple part replacements, including 2 control arms and 2 struts and finally a steering shaft, the issues persisted.
The frustration deepened when I faced derogatory remarks from the service personnel and was told to turn up the radio to drown out the noises. The service manager even dismissed the steering wheel clunking noise as normal. Additionally, I overheard conversations insinuating that I fabricated the issues.
My interaction extended to both McCarthy Subaru in Lawrence and McCarthy Auto Group in Olathe. Although McCarthy Subaru requested an inspection by Lawrence Kia, which revealed immediate issues with the transmission and steering rack, McCarthy Auto Group in Olathe disregarded this critical information and failed to address these concerns.
During the course of a year, I exchanged over 100 emails with both dealerships and reached out to the owner, Ryan McCarthy, multiple times without receiving a single response. Furthermore, despite the known transmission problems within the warranty period, they are now completely unresponsive to my requests for a resolution. This lack of communication and disregard for my concerns has been extremely frustrating.
As of now, I am still in need of a repair or replacement for the transmission, and I firmly demand that the dealership takes responsibility for their obligations.

I originally left a good review, however, had to change that since the dealership left me hanging. Bought a High Country Duramax from them unseen, the delivery driver shows up with it and the tires are about 30% tread all the way around. The front drivers tire looks low, so I point it out. He obviously could care less, so I take the truck home and that night it goes flat. Next morning I go to change it with the spare, get the spare down and it’s got huge knots all over it, looks like it had been burned. Get it to a tire shop and the tire that was going flat had an old plug in it and when they tried to repair it, they noticed the tire had separated. So I had to replace two tires that day (2 days after I got it, $800) and will need to replace the other soon. I call the service manager, he speaks with a sales manager, I get passed back and forth daily. I’m now on day 8 and they won’t return my calls at all. The salesman that sold it to me is conveniently on vacation as well. Today is Aug 8th, still no resolve. Let me tell you, you don’t wanna do business here. This is the 3rd truck I’ve bought from em and definitely the last.

Great service from Michael!! Very patient and understanding to my needs in regard to a car. Not pushy at all, I was there over 4 hours and made my decision to purchase my car. Walking around sales floor and I asked 2 different sales people questions regarding cars on the floor and they didn't even get off their chairs to answer my question!! Just a couple minutes later here comes Michael and the rest is history.

I love McCarthy I got my first car from there seven years ago and the guy that helped me was really nice. This time the guy that helped me was Kevin and he was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I’m gonna continue to get my cars from Chevrolet in McCarthy because they are really reliable and I trust them.

There were such a good place. We love chevy but here at the McCarthy chevy they were really genuine the sales associate Kevin was soo amazing helped as much as he could and was working extra to get us in a car we was looking for to meet our needs. Eric was also nice and helped us as well. Will def recommend
