The staff and the director Brooke is awesome and very attentive. It's very hard being a 1st time mom and sending my baby to daycare but I highly recommend la petite on ridgeview Rd.

Wanted to share and give a great big thank you to the staff at La Petite on N. Ridgeview. We were put in a position where we needed to locate a new daycare quickly after our prior center closed. Sometimes in life, the stressful situations can result in a blessing. My daughter looks forward to her school day and speaks highly of all of her teachers and directors that she has the pleasure to interact with. The activities this center creates for the children encourage exploration of new concepts in a interactive group setting. Her absolutely AMAZING, sweet and loving teacher Miss. Cheyenne makes each and every child a priority in her day. She keeps me up to date in real time on the centers app with meals, naps and daily photo/videos. This means so much because it allows me experience the fun all of the children had during the school day. Cheyenne is organized, structured and keeps the children on a schedule so they know what to expect during their day. Thank you for making my child feel so welcome each and every time we walk through your doors.

Zero stars. We have cut ties with this daycare. It's like having a bunch of 13 year olds watching your children. If the teachers and director have any child development schooling, they need to go back to school. Save your money and your sanity and choose a daycare where they actually know how to care for children. They are also very short staffed but have now enrolling signs out. They aren't capable of caring for the children enrolled now. Keep driving past this daycare. There are others which are capable and better for your child.

Update 2023: Unfortunately I had to remove my 4 yr old from this daycare very abruptly due to safety concerns. Sadly the care at this location has declined for the past couple years and has only been made worse since Ms. Jami left as director. I've made multiple complaints regarding two teachers, Cheyenne and Yanessa, based of how their lack of supervision and treatment of children. I've always made this complaints in person directly to the director, assistance director, or whoever was the lead for the day which was often Ms. Alex. One day I came to pick me daughter up and there was a man and a dog walking near the fence interacting with the kids on the playground. Ms. Cheyenne who was responsible for supervising the children had her back to them and had no idea. I yelled for Ms. Jill and she ran outside to handle the situation. It was at that time that I informed the daycare that Ms. Cheyenne is not to supervise my child due to her lack of supervision, patience with children, and not prioritizing the safety of the kids. I was promised that she would NOT have contact with my child. It was not long after that incident that I received a phone call informing me that my daughter was very upset and the staff was unable to calm her down. When I arrived my daughter informed me that Ms. Cheyenne had picked her up off of her feet and carried her across the playground because she refused to re-enter the building. I filed a formal complaint and asked that the camera be reviewed. I spoke with the director and the branch director. Neither acknowledge my daughter's feeling regarding an untrusted adult picking her up and taking away her autonomy. As a school social worker I am well aware of how events that seem insignificant to adults can have a traumatic to a child. The branch director was to busy trying to appease me and my feelings rather than address the emotional harm that was caused to my daughter. I was told that this was not a fireable offense despite the previous complaints I reported on this teacher to include not appropriately redirecting a child and walking up behind him and pick him up off his feet without his consent or him even knowing what was happening. They didn't have plans to move her to another location either. So sadly, my child who has spent nearly her entire life at this facility had to leave her teachers and friends due to the daycare's reluctance to deal with a teacher. Essentially, there is such a daycare teacher shortage that this center as well as others are hiring bodies to stay in ratio rather than hiring quality candidates that are knowledge about children. In a separate incident before I had to call the daycare to inform them that I witnessed Ms. Yanessa wiping tables, not supervising the children on the carpet, allowing children to run through the room and at one point a child hit my daughter in her back with book. I've also witnessed her blatant favoritism towards her own child and treating other children unfairly because she didn't want her kid to have a tantrum. I've reported it all. I've been told by former employees that the teachers are "afraid" of me. Despite me never being aggressive with them, speaking disrespectfully towards them, etc. I have high expectations for my child and higher expectations for the people I am paying to care for her. Since I am well educated in the field I can only assume they were "afraid" because I reported all of their misdeeds and I didn't allow them to speak for or over my daughter when an incident occurred. We will miss Ms. Jami, Ms. Alex and Ms. Brooke a lot but after more than a year of giving this daycare grace I could no longer risk my child's wellbeing due to their poor staffing and training. The lack of common sense at this facility is astounding. The teachers are not educated in child development and have little care for the safety and supervision of children.

My husband and I feel very lucky to have such an amazing daycare. We trust the whole team with our daughter and future children! They all have gone above and beyond to make our daughter feel as comfortable as she is at home. She always talks about what she learned that day from her teacher(Ms. Amber)! I have personally looked at the live view of my daughters class room and saw how loving and passionate Ms. Amber is with all of the kids which makes me feel so comfortable as a mother. We are so blessed to have la petite as our second family! Would highly recommend

We have had nothing less than an amazing experience at La Petite. From the director to the staff, they have all been angels. We came to La Petite from a horrible experience at another daycare center and have not had the best experiences with in home daycares. Jami was super accommodating to make sure we were taken care of and happy with our switch to the new daycare. The communication has been wonderful and I dont just feel like "another family" to them. They consistently upload pictures and details on the brightwheel app and I can check in on the cameras to see what my little guy is up to. Jami and Brooke are so excited every morning to receive my kiddo and his teachers Ms. Lori and Ms. Amber show that they truly love what they do. They have an amazing curriculum and my child comes home everyday knowing a new song or new words and sentences at the age of 2. I started potty training at 20 months and when we switched to La Petite, they picked up right where I was in the process and have communicated everything to make potty training a success. My child is always excited to see or hold hands with any of the staff that we have encountered. They have also taken extreme precautions with Covid which also gives me a peace of mind. I cant thank La Petite and these individuals for everything they do and have done for my family to make sure we are happy and to make sure my little one is happy being there. Seriously, thank you Jami, Brooke, Ms. Lori, Ms. Amber and the rest of the staff for doing what you do and having the heart that you do to make these kiddos love being there.

This was hands down the best experience we've ever had with any preschool. The director of the site and the teachers are very attentive and work with the parents and the children. I could not be happier about our experience and was super sad when our youngest graduated out to district school. 10 out of 10.. would highly recommend!!!!

I absolutely love La Petite! Director Jami, Assistant Director Brooke, Ms. Sheryl, and Miss Anita are FABULOUS! They love my child as much as I do, partner with me in holding my child accountable, and help my child navigate social struggles all while giving my child a great foundation in education ensuring he will be successful once he enters kindergarten. I was so nervous to send my child to preK as we had been in an in home daycare and I worried if we would be able to find a place as loving as our daycare provider. Here at La Petite my worries easily set aside. They teachers care so much and about each child. I am truly thankful for La Petite and the staff there.

My Children have been with this Daycare for little over 4 years! Not going to lie we have had our ups and downs. However the good has out weighed the bad. My 7 year old still begs for me to take him here instead of his school. We love have been very satisfied with La Petite.

I worked there for a year and 11 months. Jami who decided to delete my last post. I'm going to get right to the point. When I was there. The director and the assistance director spend more of their time in the office gossiping about teacher and the kids, got to the point where they were both making fun of both. The director even lied right to my face.. Didn't really show any appreciation for her employees. Director spend more time on her phone. The director didn't watch the video to keep an eye on her employees to see if they need any help. She never helped her employees when they needed the most. I was one of them that really needed the help. She left early instead of her staying for the whole shift. She didn't treat her employees right either. she can't handle the truth. plus very lack of communication. I wouldn't recommend any to work there or take their childthere.

I have two grandchildren who attend this school and they really seem to love it! It is great being able to get updates from the classroom teachers throughout the day via the Brightwheel app. I can see that they are having fun and learning is taking place too!

Since my original review got removed from Jami the director, I will make this one short. I would not recommend going here, when the director sits at the front all day on her phone all day long and has no involvement with the children, there is no support for the teachers (hence why they all quit), I am happy we moved schools.

Do not take your children to this location. The director, Dawn, should not be in the position she is. Completely unprofessional dealing with parents and teachers alike. She has zero business being the director of a child care center. If you notice, most of the positive reviews for this location are from more than a year ago or more recently from parents with babies or young toddlers. It’s a whole different ballgame once your child can actually interact with adults verbally and express themselves. The lack of consistency in discipline between the teachers (most are good; Ms Kimmie was amazing) and management (horrible) is extremely concerning as well. We could not get our son out of this center fast enough at the end.

I would not recommend this particular school to anyone. They are consistently understaffed. Your child will rarely be with the same teacher in the same classroom that you were promised. If you were to choose this location I recommend that you constantly ask what class your child will be in for the day and what staff member will be with them. I also recommend that you ask what age group your child is going to be with each day. Due to lack of staff and constant overturn It's Not Unusual for ages from Two and a Half all the way to 5yrs to be in the same room for an entire day. If your child is old enough to communicate openly I suggest that you ask them how their day went because the director Dawn does not always answer that question honestly. If you have the option to choose a different School or a different location,DO IT!

We used to take our infant son there back in 2017. The workers there are nice, but we felt like they lacked good organizational skills and child care instincts. We would pick up our son and he would be COVERED in a mixture dried snot and milk, and his shirt would wet and stained from the day. In the few months we tried them out, I can only remember ONE time I came to pick him up and he wasn't in the corner in a bouncer by himself. In addition, they would regularly forget to pack his used bottles in his daycare bag and somehow lost some of his clothes that we provided them. A lot of small things that for the money spent, didn't appear to be funding the hiring of skilled daycare workers and proper training. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR INFANT CARE.
