My daughter rescued a dog who was in bad shape. She visibly had an infection on her belly from being left in a too small of a kennel for her size, and ended up having an ear infection as well. Dr. Beyer came to exam her, 15 min later then our appointment time. Clearly in a rush to do a quick exam he barely looked at her considering the conditions she was in. They did prescribe her a few medications for her infections but were focused on uncharging and giving unnecessary medications. The total came out to $300 for just medications. I expressed that I was un happy with my vet visit, since he never gave me any information as to what health condition she was in. I paid it and left. A few weeks down the road (today) I called because she still has an ear infection, asking if they could prescribe her a different medication since she was medicated wrongfully even though Dr. beyer took a culture of ear and should’ve known what antibiotic to give her. The receptionist on the phone told me I would have to pay another $69 just so she could be prescribed something different. They told me If I took her in 2 weeks sooner they would’ve charged me $49 instead to have her examined again. I asked why it would cost that since she’s already been seen for the same thing and she told me to take my business elsewhere since I’m not a good fit for asking why it would cost so much more and that we are un welcome. Would not bring your animals here if you want your animals to be cared for.

We have had the absolute best experience here with our puppy! We were recommended to go here from the shelter that we adopted our pup from and I Could not be more grateful for that recommendation!
The attentive care, the incredible staff, I could go on forever about the positive experience we have had here! Thank you all so much for the beautiful work you do and the way you take care of our loved ones!

Great friendly staff all round - front office, techs and doctors. Dr. Beyer was thorough and explained everything in terms we understand and came up with a good care plan for our dog. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic

Yesterday was one of the best, stress-free visits to the vet for our boy Tucker. He is a 4 yr old King Charles Cavalier/Shih Tzu mix. He is a bit nervous and apprehensive in new situations. The staff was excellent with him and made him feel comfortable by offering treats, acting in a calm, soothing, gentle manner. Dr. Beyer was very thorough in his exam and addressed my questions/concerns very professionally. I was very pleased with the care we received. ~Lisa W

Words can not describe how amazing this vet office is. We had a long on going issue with my dog, we tried several different places and everytime the problem would come back. No one could tell us why this was happening or how to stop it. Thousands of dollars later and still no solution while i watched a member of my family get so bad I thought we would have to put him down. Then I was recommended here. Dr.Peuser fixed the problem AND had a plan to make sure he never gets like that again. After 1 visit everything was right in the world and we could be at ease that we can keep our family member with us longer. We will now only use advanced veterinary care, thank you guys for taking care of us.

they got my little calypso back on a good road! so starting in mid June, he ended up up getting eye infection because I guess he had a super hard shed and some of the shed stayed in his eyelids well, then they became infected so I think I'm dealing with complete blindness. I'm not 100% sure but they got his eyes back to a reasonable size or not swollen anymore. Swelling is still in one of his eyes but it's not like it was so I'm still watching, but as far as the infection goes, the infection is gone hasn't really been wanting to eat so they recommended me this food for insectivores And he went straight for it and I think I'm gonna keep that on hand is back up as well just for a safety net because he absolutely went over it and I will never forget how they came at such an amazing time. It was not a moment too soon because if we would've been looking a little bit longer, we probably wouldve had to End up in surgery to have his eyes removed because the one was big enough. It could've ruptured and it's a miracle didn't we got there? Perfect timing everybody else especially the ones who have confirmed they look at leopard geckos would return us away and I was starting to get very hopeless and I was starting to feel helpless because he was struggling and I couldn't Help him the way I couldn't snap my fingers go away. There were a lot of nights where I was crying because I wish I could've woke up and all of it been gone. It was just a horrible nightmare, but it got very hard for me to watch him suffer like that and Hopefully, we are on smooth sailing now. If anything turns, I will definitely be back. They are the most friendliest people the most welcoming people they are sensational. I don't see that where I live so I absolutely love the environment that we were welcomed into. When we went to the vet yesterday, that's when they recommended me being sick of our food and they said the vet was going to a reptile conference and his assistant was going to look up stuff to help further him along if all else failed and he wasnt going to eat. and it's not every day, unfortunately that I have a vet that goes out of their way like that it's been a long time and that made me feel very good and that he was in the best care that I could've had him in. They know their stuff And they don't just do the bare minimal. They're very easy to talk to sometimes I get nervous about talking to people in general. That is my mental health battles that I struggle with and I found it very easy to ask questions and not feel like I'm in an environment where I will be judged Look down and told that I need to do something different with my animals when I've been raised around animals my entire life I've always had people strike me veterinarians and these assistants that work there they're just phenomenal. They have the best attitudes they have the best greeting always glad to see you always have a smile on their face. I just cannot thank them enough and Calypso I know is appreciating all they have done for him. i've said it to him once and I'll say it again there needs to be more people working animals and working in vet offices just like these individuals and if they can't be welcoming and warm like they are at advanced veterinary care of Olathe then they don't need to be in business. theyre great!

Dr. Peuser and the staff were very kind and comforting while helping us handle our beloved old girl's euthanasia. We are very grateful for their care.
