My older boy absolutely loves his lessons. June does a great job of letting him pursue things that interest him while making sure he is not taking technical shortcuts. She’s very patient and thorough. We plan on sending our other kids there as well.
I have been teaching piano for 20+ years. My goal is to develop independent students by helping them to build a solid foundation in music. I enjoy working with both children and adults. I believe that learning piano should be fun. In addition to the standard curriculum, I make my lessons interesting by incorporating what students want to learn. Teaching is so much more than just passing down the knowledge. It's about relating to each students, learn what motivates them, and see them grow. I offer group piano lessons as well as private lessons to children ages 5 and up. Early Childhood Music and Movement classes are available for babies to 5 years old. Music camps are available in the summer.
