Would highly recommend! Our room was booked for extended stay once we got there, but it wasn't a problem as we were immediately given an upgrade room. We were celebrating our 25 year anniversary and received a nice card from Shannon, front desk. That was a really sweet gesture! The breakfast food was excellent and the hours were great for those that like to sleep in.

I loved our stay!! The front desk people were super nice and helpful I have 3 children and everything was super clean the breakfast was stalked and clean the only thing I disliked 100% and disagree with is there being rooms in the pool area were people can look out their room windows and see people in the pool.

Our family had a wonderful experience with this hotel. The breakfast was fabulous!! Our room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. All of the staff was friendly. The men cleaning the pool were super sweet to our 4 boys. Jessica and Jenny let us check out late so we could swimming since our plans got rained out:) I could not recommend this hotel enough!!

10/10 experience! when we checked in, luggage carts were available. room was very clean and elegant. we liked how it was bright and cheerful but not too bright. the pool and hot tub opened pretty early and closed later than most pools! the hot tub and pool were the perfect temperature and towels are available and provided. other activities like fitness center are open 24 hours! hotel is inexpensive for how great it is.
Rooms: the rooms are very clean and comfortable. there’s a lot of room in them, especially in the bathroom. the bathroom is clean, big, and there’s extra soap in case you forgot some.
Nearby activities: there’s activities like the fitness center that’s open twenty four hours and the pool opens at seven and closes at eleven from Sunday to Thursday. the pool has a hot tub as well. these activities are fun and i definitely recommend them!
Food and drinks: they serve breakfast here from seven to ten AM and it’s delicious. they serve stuff like pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, and juice. there’s also a little cafe area so you can sit down.

One of the Greatest experiences by far , the property is extremely luxurious for a 3 star hotel. Jessica at the front desk was very helpful in navigating through my experience.
Food and drinks: Everything you can ever need is within 5 minutes

When we arrived the entrance was blocked by 8 teenage boys playing soccer in front of the door. Could not pull up to check in or unload. They kicked the ball in front of me as I walked in and laughed about me asking them if they could find a better place to play. Children were running up and down halls. Breakfast was held up till 715 late eventhough the servers were there and cleaning up and many guest waiting.
Rooms: Very worn, carpet dirty by bath room and door.

Good friends stayed there after moving from the other Holliday hotel next door that put them in a room that looked more like a conference room..
The check in staff were very nice at the Express, but the upstairs staff never responded to a request for TP, nor service requests. Finally after asking at the desk downstairs they still had to buy their own TP at the store! Didn't say much about Olathe.

Room was clean and nice. The bed was ok, pillows were so soft with no support. The mattress was far enough from the headboard that no matter what the pillows kept falling in that space. Breakfast was good.
Food and drinks: Drinks yes, but the machine's card reader stopped working. No food.

Pull out bed in couch was nasty...pics addedTravis at the front desk Was told what room was on confirmation.
After much delay he Said the room I booked was not the room that I described.
. I book roomslp all the time. I know exactly what room I booked. There was going to be up charge until all of a sudden. He found the room that I looked and it was the Queen's suite so I could sleep the grandchildren once they were on their way to the pool. They were not allowed in the pool even though the rules say 15 and older can Swim without adult.
I have posted a picture of the rules, but Travis says what a lady named.
Hannah, Welch told him that only 18 and older are allowed in the pool, even though the rules clearly say differently. And he said that is just absolutely non. Negotiable. I will no longer be booking a room with Holiday Inn.Express north of lacey and if I find out hannah welch has anything to do with any rooms that I book in the future that will be a deal killer.
There are several other reasons. I would book a room somewhere else. Than this place and I promise you that it is dated and and it is not child friendly. Whatsoever.
Noteworthy details: Dirty pull out couch bed... very bad..

The hotel felt dated like the owners were largely just putting in the amount of money to just keep it up. The breakfast was bare minimum and not everything was out every day. This hotel is not ADA compliant as there is not a working handicap door (even though it had a handicap sticker, there is no handicap button anywhere). It was hard just to get the cart in because there were no sliding doors. The pool area reeked of marijuana because someone was smoking outside. When I swam in the pool with goggles I could see hair/stuff floating in the water although we were the first ones to enter the pool for hours. The minifridge decided to stop working during our stay and melted all over the place. The location makes it easy to get places, but I would not stay here again.
Rooms: The rooms felt quite dated. Our furniture was very scratched, for instance.
