Been banking for over a decade with Commerce. Terrible the last year. They recently switched transfer systems. I have money that comes out of my commerce, into a different account I use to pay bills with. When they made the switch, it did not send my automatic payments and my bills were taken before my transfer from commerce hit. Commerce had zero solutions other than an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience". Now again (Dec 2023) I get confirmation that my transfer is initiating. It does not go through again, and I get zero notification of this. Once again, bills are taken out before the transfer hits. A customer advocacy program is supposed to contact me to talk about solutions.Just terrible that I've been banking with Commerce for nearly 20 years and 2 out of 3 months they don't get my money to the right spot at the right time.On top of all this, I change my last name around the time I got married, but I live in Texas now. Commerce will not allow me to update my last name without visiting a branch location. So now my debit/credit card do not match my drivers license, passport, social security card, etc.Will close my account with them by this time next month. I don't need a bank screwing me over on bills when I have the money. I did my job, they should do theirs.

After banking with them for over a decade they changed my account without notice and start charging service fees on my "free" checking account. They refused to refund the fraudulent fees. Stay away from this company.

I have banked with Commerce for many years and when I need help they are always friendly. Last week I visited the lobby for help with my credit card payment dilemma. They were able to call that department and get my issue taking care of. I think I will visit the lobby more for help vs. calling support, avoids the wait time.

Tellers are so nice! Pulled up at 530pm thinking they were open until 6pm. They had already closed the blinds and they opened them back up for me to process my transactions. Thank you so much Commerce!

Managed to find the worst Commerce Bank location finally. Show up at 11:30 on a Saturday morning to deposit a check and there's a massive line of cars going out of the parking lot for the drive through. So I mask up and decide to brave the lobby. Sign on the door says lobby is open. Second sign says to call for assistance. Mildly painful at this point, but no biggie...call the number. Guy answers and says the lobby isn't open *massive sigh*. IF YOUR LOBBY ISN'T OPEN, TAKE DOWN THE SIGN. Sorry for the outburst, but I've been waiting in the drive through line for 10 minutes and it's barely moved. Also no coffee or breakfast yet isn't helping, but come on, how hard is it to make sure your signage is right so your customers don't waste their time? Come on Commerce, you can do a lot better than this.

Of the Commerce Bank branches, this is the best one. However, on the rare occasion I need to speak with a person, it is d near impossible to do so. Here's how it works - you call the 1-800 number, they transfer you to a person, it immediately rolls to voicemail. Call back, ask for customer service, they route you to the same person/voicemail. Call back, explain that you're trying to reach a person. They try different extensions until someone does or doesn't pick up the phone. It's 2020 for God's sake.

Only getting 2 stars because the gentlemen inside greeted me nicely when I was forced to go inside for a simple transaction. I went through the drive thru to make a deposit and asked for a copy of my bank statement. He looked at me like I was d*** and said I should know we can’t do that though the drive thru! Sooo I can take my money through drive thru but can’t print a bank statement? Had to go inside then was not thanked or told to have a good day. The gentlemen didn’t ever make eye contact when I went inside and continued to talk about non work related things with his coworkers. Overall banking experience was horrible! Will start looking for another bank soon. Tired of hidden fees and charges

I'm a long time customer of Commerce bank. Unfortunately, the days of receiving good customer service from them are gone. I spent 20 minutes on hold today trying to find out basic information about checking accounts and fees. Things that could easily be on their website, are not. This branch is better than most, but I don't recommend Commerce to anyone.
