GM Rick Pringle insulated me based on my disability and it appears that Bud Brown condones this type of behavior since no one has responded. When I was purchasing a vehicle, I was specific about what I needed based on my disability and they informed me one was coming that had what I requested. Once it arrived, I was inundated with quick paper shuffling and I didn't read the window sticker, no one did, and I wasn't informed of deleted items from the vehicle. The vehicle didn't come with an attached window sticker either. After I found out it didn't have it, I addressed the dealership and they said, "You signed the paperwork." I found out that they could not get it fixed, so I have to get what I need installed. Overall, very poor service, trust or dependability.

Disheartening Experience with Bud Brown Volkswagen: From Deceptive Promotions to Personal AttacksThe process of acquiring a new vehicle should have been a thrilling and gratifying experience, but our encounter with Bud Brown was nothing short of disheartening. Transparency was notably absent, and the essential information we sought was shrouded in exceptionally offensive figures. The very promotion that lured us in, advertised both locally and online, seemed to be an illusion as the staff appeared clueless about its existence. To make matters worse, when I returned to the dealership after the purchase to seek further clarification on specific details that their associates had not addressed, I found myself embroiled in a heated argument with one of the dealership's heads. In an astonishing turn of events, he launched a personal attack on me, raising his voice and questioning my integrity, even demanding to know why we had gone through with the purchase if we were dissatisfied. My family and I had been loyal Nissan owners for quite some time. However, after a negative encounter with one of their long-time partners, we decided to explore new horizons and embrace change. After browsing through several Volkswagen models that caught our eye, we decided to give Bud Brown a chance, hoping for a pleasant car-buying experience. However, it was the most regrettable decision in our car purchasing history. The dealership's service fell far short of the comforting experience we expected from seasoned sales professionals. It makes me ponder how they attained such prestigious awards when our encounter was anything but welcoming and left us feeling quite uncomfortable. I take full accountability for my choices in the purchase, driven by my desire for the specific vehicle. However, I regret to say that I have no intention of conducting any further business with Bud Brown.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Bud Brown Volkswagen\n\nDeceptive Practices and Personal Confrontations??Acquiring a new vehicle should have been an exhilarating and fulfilling experience, but our dealings with Bud Brown were, to put it bluntly, thoroughly disheartening. Transparency? A glaring absence. The vital information we sought? Concealed behind shockingly obscure figures.\n\nWe were taken aback to discover that Volkswagen had silently removed some popular features, including blind-spot monitoring and even keyless trunk entry, from select models to keep vehicle production running amidst the ongoing microchip shortage. We were left in the dark about this significant change, adding to our frustration. The promotion that initially drew us in, whether through local advertisements or online, felt like a cruel illusion, as the staff at Bud Brown appeared utterly clueless about its existence.\n\nTo make matters worse, when I returned to the dealership after the purchase to seek further clarification on specific details that their associates had not addressed, I found myself embroiled in a heated argument with one of the dealership's heads. In an astonishing turn of events, he launched a personal attack on me, raising his voice and questioning my integrity, even demanding to know why we had gone through with the purchase if we were dissatisfied. \n\nWe were loyal Nissan owners, but a negative experience with a partner prompted us to consider Volkswagen. Unfortunately, our decision to give Bud Brown a chance was regrettable. The dealership's service didn't meet our expectations, making us question the awards they've received.\n\nI take full accountability for my choices in the purchase, driven by my desire for the specific vehicle. However, I regret to say that I have no intention of conducting any further business with Bud Brown.

We traded in our 2019 Touareg for a 2023 ID4. There is a lot to get used to, going to a fully electric vehicle, and Jason, our salesman, was terrific. My only disappointment was the unavailability of all the features we wanted to have on our ID4.

I would rate our experience a 3/5. Our car salesman Noah, was a 5/5. He was AMAZING. We have never had a car salesman like him. The finance manager, Julie, was a different story - 1/5. Absolutely awful. I have never felt so anxious in a car dealership before. She belittled my husband & my family many times. It felt as if it’s not her way, it’s not the correct way, when it’s MY investment. There is a crack in the windshield & a gasket leak that we were told is being looked at and replaced for free by you guys as we bought the car with it. She consistently was making snarky comments to my dad when he was thanking her for helping us “yep, it’s my job,” with no eye contact. When signing the papers we asked to talk to a mechanic to hear what he thought the issue was with the gasket leak BEFORE signing papers, she laugh, huffed, and said “they close at 4. I can’t do that for you. I guess you’ll have to come back next week if that’s the case,” and began picking up papers as if we were a bother for even asking questions. We were then approached about gap insurance, she began speaking to us in a calm manor, when we began asking questions she rudely said “do you need to ask your dad to come in here?” As my parents were helping guide us through the process but were kindly sitting in the waiting area letting us do the work. My husband was not on the title & when he made a joke about adding a Volkswagen hat into the deal before signing, Julie responded with “well good thing you aren’t signing the papers then.” I then, embarrassingly, had insurance issues when giving you all the information to begin the signing process. She repeatedly told us “we do close at 5” (at 3:30pm??) “this is why I asked you to do this before 5” when the policy was active for 9/3 & not 9/2 at 5:10. THEN, I absolutely respected her for staying after hours to help & as we finalizing things & at 5:30 when they said that we couldn’t leave with the car because they couldn’t change the insurance to be active until 9/3 (and that is LITERALLY the only thing I needed as the down payment was paid & all the papers were signed) she LAUGHED at me, told my husband & I “it’s a good thing I made the temporary tag already for later in the week.” I handed over the keys without any words & walked outside. I have never felt so belittled, unheard, and disrespected before. Noah was so gentle & understanding of our issues with the insurance & being so kind & considerate of others around us. As we were leaving Noah was in disbelief as well. We left. He called us & offered to keep the keys until tomorrow (9/3, when my insurance is active) & we pick it up this morning. How ridiculous for us to not be able to pick up OUR car, that we already paid for & signed papers for because of one insurance date. If I get pulled over, it’s my responsibility for insurances right? It is now 9/3, we have our car, thanks to Noah. I could not recommend Noah more. If it wasn’t for him, I would not be leaving with a car from your lot because of our experience with Julie.I would like to be contacted about this situation as well as setting up a time to have my windshield replaced & my gasket looked at. Thank you.

I bought an ID.4 from Jason and it was such a great experience. Jason was informative, patient with my questions and indecision, and there was absolutely no pressure from him. I LOVE my ID.4 and am so glad that I made the leap and got an all electric car. I had range anxiety because I live 80 miles from the city, but have had no issues and the 275 mile range has been plenty for me to get to the KC area, run my errands/appointments and get back home with lots of miles to spare. It charges back up overnight and is ready to go in the morning. We put in solar panels last fall and so far I have not paid for any electricity to run the vehicle because we are generating enough to cover it. It is so satisfying to be self sufficient and save money and not buy gas at all! Great experience with Jason and the ID.4!!!

Decided to look into it myself and wouldnt you know it, i was right. Tech didnt even look into the issue i explained after leaving the vehicle for 2 days. Wouldnt recommended.

I bought my Atlas from Bud Brown in 2019 and have since regretted ever doing so. I hate myself every time my vehicle comes due for service or requires a recall appointment. The level of upselling they try to do every time I've been there for a regular service appointment is above anything I've ever experienced. The whole thing feels like a sales pitch -- NOT a regular maintenance/service appointment for a customer who spent $60k at their place of business on a new vehicle. When I originally purchased the vehicle, the interest rate and financing they offered through VW (which you were encouraged to use of course) was WAY higher than what the par rate was through any other lender. They did offer to take an amount off the sales price if you went with VW pricing, but it wasn't anywhere close to the extra money it would cost you in interest. They tried to brush it under the rug and drew the paperwork up with their own financing even though we had told them we had already set all of that up and had a check ready. The service department is incompetent. You can't schedule an appointment for something as simple as an oil change, but they won't give you any sort of timeline either. When they do *require* an appointment for something like a recall, the appointment means nothing anyway. When I arrived, the guy asked me if I was leaving my vehicle at the shop, to which I replied that I was and asked how long it was going to be. "As long as it takes to get it to the front of the line, plus about an hour" was his response. I responded" what's the purpose of the appointment then?". He said that the appointment is just to reserve my spot for the DAY, and asked who I talked to. I told him that I was pretty sure the iPad he was holding would tell him who booked the appointment for me! Total incompetence. To add it, I asked him about the 2nd recall on the car that they hadn't come up with a solution for -- something to do with the airbag not deploying on the front passenger side. His response was that there wasn't a fix for that recall yet, but just don't have anyone sit in that seat. I don't expect this guy to have an answer, but he clearly has no idea how to deal with people. I would prefer to take my vehicle (esp a foreign make) to the shop where it was purchased, and am normally loyal consumer. I have literally considered getting rid of my vehicle and buying a different one so that I can deal with one shop start to finish instead of looking for somewhere else to take my vehicle for maintenance. NOT SURPRISED at all to read all of the bad reviews.

It was a pleasure doing business with Bud Brown. Extremely professional, honest, and delivered exactly the car discussed in the condition promised. I’ve purchased many cars over the years and Julie is by far the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with, she is extremely knowledgeable, explained warranty, extended warranty, Carfax, and the title transfer process. The vehicle was super clean and ready to go, looked brand new! Thank you to everyone involved!

I was able to make an appointment for my car within a reasonable time frame. Diagnostics was done quickly and I was given a comprehensive overview of the issues and the time frame the repair could be done in. I was able to work remotely in a comfortable lobby while I was waiting. Fresh coffee and water were available during my wait.

My husband and I purchased a Honda Accord from Bud Brown Volkswagen a couple of weeks ago, and had the pleasure of working with Jason Wattree. Jason is not your typical car salesman - he was not pushy, and did what he could to get us the best deal possible. He took the time to make sure we understood all of the papers we had to sign. We spent some time at his desk while waiting for the finance representative, and really enjoyed talking with him. Jason is a great guy, and I hope we have the opportunity to work with him again in the future.
