They always have what you need for all things outdoors and it's a fun place to look around. But everything is made in China and Johnny Morris has more money than God. They will re-spool a fishing reel for free.

I bought a couple Lew's reels 11 months ago, and they broke at the rod mount last week. I had not bought any protection warranty, but the customer service people at BP helped me by getting me a copy of my sales receipt from last year, so I could send it to the manufacturer for replacement, which they are doing.

Just a nice vibe at this location. Helping always available if you need it but they don't bug you. Friendly people.

Was looking to buy a fishing license, waited at Walmart for more than thirty minutes and no one came to help me. I walked into Bass Pro shop and within 20 minutes I had 2 fishing licenses in my hands.

Took my Regency pontoon in for a recall and 300 hour service. I told them many of the gauges never worked (courtesy of a horrible dealer in Topeka where I bought the boat) and that I needed them to check the hydraulic fluid level as that was leaking when I got the boat new (and is the one think the Topeka dealer was able to fix). When I got the boat back, I noticed the hydraulic fluid was leaking again out of the dash, the fuse cap was not put back on, one of the gauges still does not work and the plastic nut that holds the ignition assembly in place was broken. I wasn’t about to tow the boat back there (30 miles one way) so I found a metal nut at Fastenal and had my mechanic finally fix the hydraulic leak as the hose clamps were very loose and the threaded fitting needed Teflon tape to keep it from leaking. With respect to Regency pontoon boats, really quality and knowledgeable mechanical service is a thing of the past in the dealer network.

Great to shop here like the one in Independence, MO. I shop for shotgun shells, both places. Range shooting for practice. I like nature the way it is, Fun to Look at and Save it from Human intervention. The people are friendly and helpful.

If you're bored and are looking for a nice place to go walk around and look at things, I highly recommend visiting. There is plenty to look at here and the water feature, fish and shooting mini game are all great highlights. Ended up getting some shirts and sandals here.

Smaller bass pros. Seemed to be out of stock in several items, but the atmosphere was great, as always. And the staff are always seem eager and extremely helpful.
