Been meaning to do this review for a long time. A few years ago I took my classic Chevelle in there for some work. They cracked my windshield when they tried to remove it and then tried to play it off like they didn't do it and that it was that way when I brought it in. Wow. I should have sued them.Service: Body & Trim

I am 19 years old I went to Chris Carlson and trusted him to work on my 1979 green and white Chevy truck . All I was going to have him do was repaint the truck and fix the rust and doing LS swap he originally quoted me 12,000 for the bodywork and 3,000 for the ls swap. he never contacted me or told me that the price was going to go up. After already paying him 12,000 he hands me two more invoices for an additional 12,000 none of this includes the ls swap. I told Chris that I was on a budget and that this was only going to be my daily driver not a show truck. He apparently didn't care and when crazy with the budget and took advantage of a me being 19 and not knowing much and charge me 17,500 just for the paint and body work. And he didn't do everything that he said he was going to do he will cover up rust with a bed liner type material. He won't clean off the dirt or the grease or the oil Hill simply just spray or paint over it. And you might lose your truck or car like I almost did when he got seized by the federal government for 100,000+ dollars in back taxes.

Chaotic Customs is a "very high" end custom shop. The work is second to none. The owners are very custom friendly and do superb work. There is NOT another shop in this region that compares in quality. The first review was posted by an employee that quit because he could NOT hold the same high standards as the rest of their employees.
