Kaufman Automotive rebuilt duramax and with less than 2 years (25k miles). Engine has excessive blow-by and oil leaks. Owner of shop said he would take care of it. Made appointment and dropped the truck off...after many calls 4-5 weeks later, he acted like none of the problems exist! Truck also needed turbo and injectors...said he would get a quote and call me that day. 4 weeks later after many calls just went and picked the truck up with no work actually done!

Great place to have any work on any type vehicle. Jason is very knowledgeable in all areas of vehicle repair, from your car to a semi tractor or trailer, from firework, oil changes to major engine repair or transmission repair to rebuilding this mechanic knows his business.

I have had nothing but superior service and treatment from Jayson and his team. He is nothing but honest, fair, highly competent, and reasonably priced.One of Kauffman's competitors diagnosed the coolant leak in my 05 DURAMAX as a cooler gasket leak, and since the water pump would have to be removed to repair the cooler they advised that the pump should be replaced as well. The competitors estimate was around $1500.00.Then I had Jayson inspect the leak and he found that the cooler was fine and only the pump was leaking. He installed a factory GM pump for around a third of his competitors bid. It has never leaked again.The competitor was going to charge me around $800.00 for doing nothing!!!!!I have had other great experiences with repairs on my truck at Kaufman’s since then and will not take my truck to anyone else but Jayson.As a retired field service rep, Technical farm equipment Service Trainer for dealer mechanics, national service training manager, and past certified repair and overhaul instructor on B and C series Cummins engines I highly recommend Kaufman’s.Anyone who thinks they had a bad experience here needs to look at themselves as the problem. I've had Jayson work on my personal truck since he was still working out of a garage in Walton, and he has always been honest and upfront about anything we do to my Duramax. He's also helped me out in a pinch with several vehicles for the dealership, as well as friends and family that I've sent his way.

We dropped a truck off in February of 2019 to do an engine swap on. We knew it would be a process but Jason seemed eager to do it. Now 14 months later still no truck completed. We have paid him $4200. Told me it would be done this week and the week before that one and the week before that one. Now we can’t get ahold of him. Have over 13k invested now and would like our truck finished!

Highly recommend amazing people I had a turbo go out in my pickup called down drove from Nebraska to get then had a cp3 take a crap called Jayson asked if he had a cp3 for me he said yes I drove from Nebraska and will again. Alway helped me try to figure out the problem over the phone if he could.

Kaufman Automotive did something no one else does. The bid matched the bill!!!! It was done fast but right. I will use them again and I suggest you drive up i-135 at 75mph and get you some great honest small town service!
