They will scam you, will tell you anything to get your money, they attack your emotions and show you images off of google of your pets diagnosis and they never even gave any fluids or vitamins for a dying puppy just to give back with a fat bill for an xray for what you can already tell is wrong tell; no information on what could be done to keep alive, They took the rest of my money and told me they couldn't do the surgery at the "state of the art" hospital they claim to have and told me to go to a smaller hospital? now I can't pay for the surgery over here down the road cause they over charged me thanks very inhumane state of the art equipment that's why I went there what a joke

There are a lot of negative reviews on here, which made us wary ... but after the corgi hurt his leg last Saturday, and having had a terrible experience at Blue Pearl, we didn't have much choice. WOW, were we surprised. From front desk staff to vet to the tech who discharged us, everyone was kind, attentive, helpful, and explained everything we needed to know. We loved the vet, Dr. Kilgore, who carefully explained treatment options to us, and the corgi loved the tech so much that he didn't want to leave her when it was time to go. I mean, you know it's all good when your dog licks the tech and wants to snuggle with her, right? When we followed up with our regular vet a few days later, he was pleased, and said their treatment and medications were exactly what he would have given. Also, I had eye surgery three days before our visit, needed to put ice packs on my eye every couple of hours. But we were there almost five hours, and halfway through, my eye started really hurting. The desk staff gave me an ice pack, and one of the techs came out to check on me! Seriously, awesome people all around.

The vets and their knowledge. I took my pup in early Sunday morning, got X-rays that to them were inconclusive. An ultrasound was recommended but not highly encouraged, option two was for nausea meds, all Sunday and into Monday my pup got worse took him to a different hospital for them to say that is in fact no doubt a sock (seen the same X-rays Mission took), and went in for emergency surgery. This place is a waste of money and will provide little to no information.

My husband & I recently (after 7PM on a Friday night) took our 10 year old cat, Panda, to Mission Veterinary Emergency at the recommendation of our local vet. Our vet found that she had fluid in her lungs and needed Xray's to further diagnosis the problem. We were seen immediately upon arrival at Mission Vet. and Panda was taken to the ICU for oxygen. After Xrays were taken, Dr. Brittany McBrain at Mission Vet. met with us and said that a cancerous mass was found in Panda's chest pressing on her lungs and her heart. Dr. McBrain listed all the options available and after careful consideration and realizing that there was no cure and only a few days left for Panda, we chose euthanasia for our pet. Dr. McBrain was extremely kind and caring and knowing that additional procedures (and costs) would not change the outcome helped us reach our conclusion. We were able to be with Panda in order to say goodbye, (in a room designed for this purpose.) Dr. McBrain came in and administered a sedative so that Panda was asleep during the final injection. We cannot say enough positive things about Dr. McBrain. She was the only vet that we met at Mission Vet. but hopefully the other vets are as caring and as sensitive as she is.

Their response is self-serving. My cat was suspected of having advanced cancer and needed urgent attention. Two other vets considered his situation him in need of attention. Not being flexible with us or allowing him to be put up overnight put him at risk. Thank God we were able to find Eagle Animal Hospital. They worked with us and seemed to understand the urgency of the situation.

Although in the past I've used them on a fairly regular basis, sometime after 2021 or so they raised their prices - used to cost $99 for an office call, but that's gone up to $199 just to walk in the door. There's always an hours-long wait, especially if your pet's needs are not considered an "emergency" - it really feels like they're taking advantage of being so busy by increasing their office call fee by 100% - talk about "greed-flation"!!

Absolutely the worst place to take your sick animal. I spent 4 hours waiting to be seen with my dog who had a life threatening injury. I begged to be helped, finally saw a person, got no diagnosis or plan to help then they asked for a 4k deposit to keep him for the night. We left. Hours later they repeatedly called saying they had my dog and needed a deposit to treat him. In that time we'd gone to Blue Pearl, gotten treatment and was on my way home. Our dog got the treatment he needed at BP. Absolutely horrible, dirty place.

Horrible! Took my beagle in because she was urinating blood and shaking from being in pain. I called on my way to see what their wait time was and was told none but could be up to four hours if any testing needed to be done. I got there at 9:30 AM, checked in and was immediately put in a room. Two hours later I was still waiting and no one ever came in to update us or check on us. Finally a girl opened the door and asked if my dog was still stable? How would I know that?? She said they were really busy. Right after that another girl came in (she never told me what her position was). She asked me what was wrong with my dog and I filled her in. She said she was going to take my dog and get her vitals and that it might be a little bit before the doctor could check her. I thought she would get her vitals and bring her back. My dog was gone for 2 1/2 hours! They never updated me or told me where my puppy was! Finally the doctor came in (without my dog) and told me the diagnosis. Said it could be something else that could be checked with a $200.00 test or I could just take the antibiotics and pain killers and go. After 5 1/2 hours (no testing done) I was done with this place. I was told to go to the waiting room and they would bring her out. They never even looked at her in that room. They told me they just gave her pain medicine at 3:00. My poor girl had to wait all that time in pain. On Monday I looked at the discharge paper and the information was for a male dog with the name Finn. Mine is a female named Oakley. NEVER AGAIN will I go here!!!!

I took my dog in because she ate mouse poison. the person at the front desk wouldn't do anything to check us in until I called a poison hotline. so I called and the recording said that in order to assist, I needed to pay $85. absolutely ridiculous. I went to another vet where there was no hotline for me to call before being seen and the vet thought that was a ridiculous protocol as well.

We took our dog there with end of life issues. Blue Pearl would have tried to. Sell us all sorts of tests and Mission did not. They basically said it is what it is take him home and make him comfortable. We were so appreciative of this.

Slow, expensive and very rude! Long waits. No communication. Angry and rude when asked about status.

While going to a place like this is never easy my experience was horrible. While they were amazing on the phone. Very concerned advised what we needed to do once we arrived. We made it in our girl was taken back immediately as we were told she would be. 10 minutes of waiting doc walks in and basically tells us our worst nightmare my girl has an aggressive cancer. Basically put her to sleep all else will be a waste of money. She said she's give us some time the tech walks in within minutes to ask if we've made a decision through my tears I say no. Doc comes in a few minutes later with same questions. I felt so rushed. She said we could not take our girl to another doc for a second opinion. Taking her home was not an option.

Today we had to put down a beloved pet. Our vet sent us to this facility to have additional testing (ultrasound) done. Dr. Soga reviewed the information provided by the vet and suggested an alternative test (much less cost) first. The result indicated a terminal condition. The facility provided a separate room that is dedicated to easing this transition. It was furnished with comfortable couches/ chairs/ a treat basket with all kinds of favorite treats for the pet / books to read to children concerning the loss of a pet/ blankets - I could go on. The room was available for as long as we needed (24 hour facility). We called family and friends who came to say goodbye. There is even a "patient" advocate that checked in periodically to see if we needed anything (something to drink, etc). I cannot thank everyone for all they did. Dr. Soga was extremely sensitive and supportive of a very hard decision.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I had to take my 15 year old dog here on January 13th at 11 pm. He was already scheduled for euthanasia at our regular vet a week later due to spine and back issues. He was in immense pain, on steroids and narcotics, etc. That night, he developed HGE and his insides were shloshing out of his butt. It was horrible. I told the vet that was working about his history and the plan I had with my regular vet and he tried to convince me to hospitalize him; give him more meds etc. I told him I could not put him through one more thing and the vet told me the call I was making was not what he would do. Before they would bring my buddy back for me to say goodbye, they brought a debit card machine to charge me for the euthanasia, etc. it was the middle of the night. I was bawling and in shock what if I'd forgotten my wallet?! The next day I left a sobbing voicemail for my regular vet explaining what had happened. He called me and said he would report this place because based on my dog's history, health and ultimate plan for the end of his life, it was horrible practice to tell me to spend more money, further traumatizing my dog and not even prolonging the inevitable, which was already scheduled. Shame on them. Never. I repeat, never!!! Trust them with your pets.
