Had a VERY horrible experience today 3/7/24. Went in for some Amazon returns and one regular shipment. I had 5 packages that I was carrying in to put on the counter. Not sure the employees name but he was an older fellow with partly bald short white hair and white beard.He started off by telling me to put the items on the scale, I said ok. As I am trying to balance the packages in my hands to put them on the counter. He then said “put them on the scale” with an attitude. I said “give me a second to situate myself.” I told the employee that I have one regular shipment and the rest were amazing returns.The first Amazon return he scanned the code from my phone and said hand me a clear bag that is behind you. Not sure why I have to grab the bag for him just to put the item in it. It should be behind the counter for him to grab to package. But I went ahead and grabbed it anyway and gave it to him. He closed the bag with the very expensive item and tossed it into the return box and it hit the wall hard. Of course, I asked “are you good?” Because that is an expensive item. He didn’t answer.He said “ put your phone brighter it makes it impossible to scan” with an attitude. I then gave him the second item and not knowing they all had to be in one package to ship to Amazon. I had already packed them individually. The second item would not scan. He asked “ did you already hand me this item? It will not scan”. I said “no, it must be because it has one barcode for all items.”The employee then let out a very loud sigh and said with a very bad attitude “ these items need to be in one box the ship to Amazon. I don’t know why you put them in individual boxes.”At this point I was very upset about how unprofessional he was acting. It was like talking to my 6 year old child. I said “ok, I am a very easy person to deal with. What would you like me to do.” I tried not to be rude myself but I was already upset the way he was acting. I said “if I cancel my items and have a separate barcode would it make it simpler for you.” God forbid he had to scan a few more items.He said it’s whatever you like to do. He said “ you can pay us to ship it in one box or cancel them I said “ how much was it to ship them all at once. “As he lets out another loud sigh and shakes his head. I almost walked out with all the items. I was so upset. Ended up paying to have the Amazon returns shipped.If I have to go there again to ship an item and he is available to help me, I will tell him I will wait for the next employee or if it’s just him. I’m not shipping there.

Chris and the staff of this UPS Store, were very good communicating with me about the shipment of an antique chair. When it arrived today, on time, it was packed incredibly well. I thank Chris and his staff there in Mission, Kansas, my local UPS delivery guy who is always careful and pleasant, and all those UPS employees between here and there for all that was involved in the safe delivery of this piece to me. If I can give no stars it would be great. Called about my package that was delivered their but should have came to my apartment. Called a was met with a rude person I told the reason why t was calling and could you check. Gave my name and I was put on hold this person came back with a very disrespectful tone saying to me you don't have anything here with that name and I said what do you mean with that name? The person replied well you have a unique name I asked did you put it in the system or write it down. Reply no I just looked so you didn't put it in the system or write my name down you just eye bald it? Person went on a rage and I told the person you're the rudest disrespectful person to have a job where y are to help people what type of person are you and I ended the call. Treat people with respect It could've been your Mom's or Daughter or your Aunt trying to get help like I was because I tell you it doesn't feel to good to have your money just floating around to be given to the wrong person that's not a good feeling and yes all 26lbs of it too.

1 star doesn’t all all suggest the profoundly awful service for this unprofessional business. 77 weeks ago (almost 1 1/2 years) I filed a claim with this store. The claim represents a piece of vintage French art that was damaged due to the uneducated packing choices of what I’ve been told was the store owner. Attached photos show the poor packing choice. The art was damaged where the boxes were forced together to make a bigger box, with no support structure hence the crack. Immediately upon receipt of the broken piece I sent the photos, receipts etc to help process the claim.I phone this location once every 3-5 months to check in on the status. “Chip” always answers the call & has no recollection of this report or it’s outcome each time. He will not supply any claim number, nor any related info. He always stresses about long lines and that he has to urgently get off the call. He also always tells me to “call back in a week” Actually my friend, it’s up to your business to call me back with informationI’m due over $800 for the cost of art & junky shipping fees. I’ve reluctantly decided to post here about this & I’ve reached out UPS corporate as well.

Just stopped in to return my AT&T equipment. The guy name Chip very rude. I asked a question and he acted as if I wasn’t standing in front of him. He proceeded to ask me the information needed but refused to answer 1 question for me.

Very Unprofessional! The older dude griped at us about how they "Don't get a dime for taking Amazon returns".How TF is that MY problem? If you negotiated a bad arrangement with Amazon, deal with it.

They need to create a dedicated line that is just for dumb people returning Amazon items. Went in for business purposes and had to wait almost an hour!

People need to be VERY aware , of a guy named Tinsley that works there . I dropped some very important mail off in a enclosed envelope and it magically disappeared. After being put in the hands of this store associate. I have called numerous of times and left emails . Iv been getting the run around for a whole month now . They lack accountability and liability for the actions of this store associate . Due to no fault of my own . I will be facing an eviction . Please be aware and don’t leave anything valuable . Hoping this message gets across to prevent it from happening to someone else . This guy is very much so still employed there .* UPDATE they haven’t done anything to help me with this situation. But protect Tinsley . I am now forced to get a attorney involved for litigation. Don’t trust these sketchy employees

I go in often with returns to Amazon etc and the service is superlative. Just very professional, on top of it and courteous. The other UPS stores should train there folks here at Mission UPS!

This UPS store is ALWAYS on top of it. The nice lady with the dark hair and glasses helped me tonight around 515 and was amazingly helpful and the gentleman she was working with has also gone above and beyond with helping return my packages. I couldn't be happier with my service here!Thank you!!

The owner of this UPS Store franchise is amazingly arrogant and rude. He is not helpful or kind or polite. This is based on 4 encounters I've had with him with no special requests or complaints. You would do better to take your business elsewhere. Will not be back to this location. This man has zero customer service skills. I know because I am a customer service manager in a corporate environment.

I’d give ol boy a 0 star if they let me. Nowhere online, nowhere on the door, nowhere in STORE even does it say “notary done at 3 don’t bother” but the old white dude with white hair and glasses at the front saw how busy the store was getting. Said I’m just here for a notary and he looked around before he said “we don’t do anything after 3.” Good job ups

Trying to find a lost package and the customer service I got here was just rude. I will stick to the UPS store a little farther away that actually wants to help.
