“This place is so cute! The aesthetic of the store is what attracted me to stop and check it out, it has all types of clothes that you need such as basics, dresses and coats. Their vintage section is to die for and I loved that they carry the brand ALOHA which I haven't seen in person just online. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed assistance right away and set up a dressing room for us when we were ready. Check out was quick as well and gave some recommendations. However, I do want to be transparent about the prices as this is more of a luxury store so there wasn't anything they had that was less than $50. But if you are looking for unique pieces I recommend checking it out and even just stopping to get some inspo”
“I live in Texas and ordered a pair of Anderson Bean Ostrich boots online from Nigro's. I had some questions about them and everyone I talked to on the phone was very pleasant. I also had a custom request where I needed the boot straps dyed a different color. Most stores would have told me "no way," but David Nigro, Jr. was happy to dye them for me before shipping out. I got them today and they are beautiful boots, exactly as expected. I will definitely be back to buy more boots in the future!”

“I have been coming here since I was in high school. I recently got into records and have never really thought of this place as being a record store but now it's a must when thrifting vinyl. I came around a $10 Fleetwood Mac record and haven't snatched something up so fast before. I absolutely love how friendly the staff is and all the funky and beautiful art, clothing and gifts this place has. It's a one stop shop on a Saturday for me.”
“MADI is a high-quality shop with a heart-driven mission and one of my favorite spaces to spend time in Kansas City, when I used to live there. The owner welcomed me in by letting me know the shop is based on the premise of making a difference. Everything the store was based on was a manifestation for me to have found: organic clothing, pure plant dyes, devotion to proper pay for people. MADI is a gem, and I shop their online store now since I live in Florida. Their purpose deserves above-and-beyond gratitude. I have two pairs of their silk shorts! This shop is the best!”

From its fantastic selection of name brand, in tip top shape, lightly used designer goods to the wide variety of unique and local gifts to surprise any hostess or birthday girl or bride to be...or heck just about anyone youre looking to impress. If you are looking for a store that'll make you beam ear to ear because not only are you being kind to the environment you are also simultaneously supporting children and dogs in need in the immediate kcmo metro area then, DO GOOD CO is for you. It's one of those specialty vintage shops that never feels pretentious but does feel exclusive, and I absolutely love that for the downtown KC area. It makes it easy to allow patrons to feel at home as well as making it a luxury shopping experience. I will continue to shop at DO GOOD CO and FEEL GOOD about doing it. Just recently, I was honored to be invited to attend a holiday party at DO GOOD CO. and every detail was well thought out and planned impeccably. I was so impressed by the catering as well as the great selection of vendors who brought flair to the festivities. “The people that work there and the location I see lots of different kinds of people go in and shop. I’m at the store a lot to see the new deals and products they have coming in and the people that work there are AWESOME, when I’m there I’m usually helped by Jose who’s absolutely the best! Everyone that goes in is treated like a friend by all the people that work there! I have friendly conversations with everyone there while I’m shopping which is nice and refreshing. I shop here mainly for me and my son (who’s 7) he loves the vans store and all the “cool shirts and shoes” (basically his whole closet) we love vans!”

On my most recent visit they did not have the exact jacket I needed so they showed me how to contact Carhartt directly. They were willing to give up a sale to get me just what I wanted. That is why I will go back again and again. I ended up buying the hiviz instead of the black because I was so impressed. Well done.”

“Found some shorts that fit me very well but I was literally sweating bullets in the fitting rooms. I thought it was because i was coming from walking in the heat. I was so flustered and overwhelmed by the heat that I didn’t even finish trying on the clothes i had. When I got to the front the employees were offering water bottles and they had fans going, that’s when I realized the AC was out. I was amazed by the employees unwavered and positive attitudes. The two guys at the register were incredibly kind and apologetic. As I was leaving I heard them mention this was the 3rd summer in a row this has happened.
No customer wants to shop or try on clothes in the heat. The employees should not have to work like that either but they did so with a smile on their face. They are the only reason I’m not leaving a 1 star review”

“I had a wonderful first-time western apparel shopping experience with George, Patty (the owners) and their staff. Extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful staff guiding me through all the intrinsics of western clothing. I found their prices to be really good and they even had some additional offers on boots, shirts and belts among things.
While I ended up buying my first Steteson hat at their outlet store in Joseph, next time around I'll buy it from George and Patty. Also look forward to buy my next set of Ariat boots from them when I come to visit Kansas City.
While it's a small store, they have a big selection and they are more than happy to order home anything you want at a competitive price.”
