This is one of my go to Walgreen's. It's clean and usually not busy, they don't have much of a problem with bare shelves (like a lot of stores these days), and the pharmacy is organized enough that neither their drive thru or walk in takes long. The people working in the pharmacy are friendly and helpful too. Went in recently because I have old prescription meds I wanted to dispose of. I'd seen a drop off bin at the Lawrence location but alas, not here. I was told only some locations have them due to the cost. Walgreen's on 75th has one. I was also told to try the Merriam police station. I did but they were closed (their public hours are only Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm).

I have shopped here for many, many years and consider this my "go-to" place for everything I need between bigger shopping expeditions. The staff are so helpful and friendly that i always feel at home there. Even when they hire new young people to add to their crew, that same pleasant atmosphere is maintained. A special person there to me has always been Tanika with whom I--and I know many others-- have a special bond. She is always there for the customers to check them out, find them a product, or offer an empathetic ear. Growing up, my kids used to joke that in our house, Walgreens was Santa Claus!

I placed a photo order online last night and I got a text saying it was ready 15 minutes later went to picking up this morning and they couldn't find it. No big deal they just pressed a button and reprinted it. The cashier gave me a discount because I had to wait two extra minutes I told her that wasn't necessary but thank you for doing that.

I went there with coupons and also wanted to use the digital coupons so took my tide up there and it only accepted the digital so she called for a manager. Manager said that they only accept one coupon, either the digital or the manufactured so I looked up Walgreens policy and showed it to her she then told me that she still would not accept it because the tide was $2.99, so after $2 digital coupon if they accepted the $1 manufactured coupon it would be free but if the coupon was for .99 she would accept it so I walked out and then read the policy again and the policy plainly states that if the product is less than coupon than they just reduce the coupon! She was rude and no help at all!!

Always happy with the service. Doesn't matter which department, everyone is courteous, helpful and most professional. Yesterday went in for flu shots. Done quickly and painlessly. Can't ask for anything more!

It's a standard Walgreens, but what makes this location REALLY special, is my girl Tanika. She usually works during the day, and for the past 2 years I've been coming in here for your standard toothpaste, snacks, etc., and every time I see Tanika, she absolutely makes my day. Every time. She's always happy to see you, she's always really sweet to everyone that comes in there, she's always got something positive and nice to say, she's the kind of person that makes this world go 'round. She is the ideal customer service/retail employee, and not only that, everyone needs a friend like her. That's not to say that every employee that works there isn't great (they actually all are super nice and helpful), but Walgreens, you nailed it when you hired Tanika. I usually don't bother with Yelp at all, but I had to say something. This woman deserves a raise, happiness, and a spot in the White House. She makes my Walgreens experience fantastic every time I come in there.

Tried to enter a Corporate comment, but would not go through. Walgreens is the most dysfunctional pharmacy I have ever dealt. with. Had to switch January 1st from CVS (never an issue in the 20 yrs we used them) Started January 1st in Fort Meyers Florida. and communicated at that time with someone. They wanted to charge me $400.00 for a $50.00 script and didn't have time to have transferred from CVS. Told me they were busy and couldn't transfer for 5-10 days. Now in Merriam, KS. and what an ordeal that has been. Uncaring, employees, lose PX in 10 minutes, stock is in stockroom and cannot locate, come back tomorrow. Dr sends Acute PX for a basic antibiotic and have to wait for 2 days for the inadequate employees to find. As of tonight, moving all PX to another local pharmacy. Good luck with your Rite Aid merger. (insert sarcasm)

I needed to order invitations and had ordered them online twice, did not have luck on the website when they were printed they were not how they looked online. When I went into the store Kay (a manager) and Alex (associate) exceeded my expectations, these two women went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with everything! I definitely will be going back to get all of my invitations for other events from Walgreens because these two were extremely helpful and patient but their goal was to make sure I was satisfied with the product. I love the way the invitations turned out and I am extremely satisfied with the customer service! Thanks a million Kay for making things right!
