I'm not a fan of this credit union and only use to cash my check because it where my employer banks....the location is hard to find and Google said they closed at 6 it's not even 5 and they are close ?

I have been a member of Main Street Credit Union for over 15 years. Their banking system is out of date and archaic. On their app you aren't even allowed to deposit checks by phone like almost all national banks. With very few physical branches to visit, it is almost impossible with normal banking hours to visit a branch when issues arise. I recently had my card compromised and needed to be canceled. I was notified after banking hours and couldn't order a new card until the next business day because Mainstreet doesn't offer after hours banking except for canceling cards. I ordered my card the next day and I was told it would take 5-7 business day for it reach me. On day 6 I called the customer service number to see the status of my card. After 20 minutes of asking the status of my card and the incompetent customer service representative telling me she had no information, she reluctantly got a hold of card member services to see where my card was. All I was asking for for the date that my new card was shipped so I knew when to expect it. After being on hold again and the customer service agent came back and had stated that there was an issue with their IT team and they filed some paperwork wrong. Because of this mess up that was only found today because I was calling and insisting on answers, it came to light that my card was actually never even issued properly and that was why I had not received anything yet. The customer service representative then let me know that a new card would be issued and expressed ordered. Express ordered meaning 4 business days. I am now without a card for 6 business day currently and have to wait at least another 4. In total 10 business days or 2 full weeks without access to my account.
