We've gotten 2 cars from KC and both times we've gotten great deals on solid, reliable cars for our teen drivers. Paperwork is also super easy and clear. Expect to return here when the next teen needs wheels.

Ever seen so many red flags all at once that you think you have to be on some sort of prank show? Welcome to KC Used Car Emporium!Walked in, young girl barely looked up to inquire what I needed. Older guy in the back office area looked like he was ten chapters deep into whatever he was reading on his phone, but def not there to assist. Salesman comes up on a phone, motions me to go outside. While walking outside, tells me his name is Sean. Sean proceeded to talk for another few minutes on the phone before I inquired as to the location of the exact truck that I just verified was on their lot literally 22 minutes before driving there. He is flabbergasted, motions towards the few trucks parked at the end of the lot, and tells me that is all they have. I ask him if they just sold it, and he smirks and says he has no idea what I’m talking about. Proceeds to continue on about he’s got all these trucks, all which are conveniently $2k higher in price.I explain that I was only interested in that exact truck, hence my call before I visited. He shrugged his shoulders and pointed to the trucks again. I walked away, and as I’m walking he shouts “want me to go try to look and see if we still have that truck?”From my perspective, this place will tell you pretty much whatever you need to hear to come out and visit. Once there, they are hoping to play bait and switch, offering up higher priced vehicles for desperate folks. They are definitely relying on their salesmen to be experienced in playing the rope a dope game, with super questionable sales tactics. With the way they attempt to get people in, the ignorant sales tactics… I’d just recommend wasting your time by browsing for a new vehicle somewhere else. Definitely no need to visit, unless you really like wasting time with super unprofessional salespeople.

My family has bought several cars here. The people are friendly and the used car prices are reasonable.

**Updated Review**Kenny is a great salesman, I’ll say that. I was very hesitant about buying a car there but Kenny was one hell of a guy and I really trusted him. I paid for a Toyota Scion that had 3 different lights show up, within a few days, on the dash at which they claimed it was due to “rough roads setting off the sensor”. I took it to O’reilly for a diagnostic check and they noticed that the car had NO OIL in the motor. The car had been shaking like crazy so I took it in to the used car emporium and they claimed it wasn’t leaking and that the shaking was due to it needed new spark plugs. After taking it to a mechanic, they confirmed that the car definitively had a leak in the motor and that the sensor was bad. The car needed a new motor and multiple other things. I sold it and went someplace else. I would not ever recommend this location. Ps. When signing for your car you are offered a gas card to make a good review. Don’t trust all of the good reviews.

Buyer beware! If you buy a vehicle from this dealer, hire a mechanic to check it out first. We bought a vehicle from them in August 2022 and even checked the codes before buying. Everything seemed okay. Two days after we brought the vehicle home, the check engine light came on. Turned out the vehicle had no catalytic converter (it had a straight pipe installed instead), and someone had reset the codes so it would temporarily not be detected. This problem was not disclosed to us at the time of purchase. Either the dealer didn't know--and they should have inspected before selling the vehicle--or they reset the codes themselves to hide the issue. Either way, it was unethical for them to sell it without full disclosure. Also, they didn't have the title at the time of purchase, and it took 6 weeks and repeated phone calls until they finally gave it to us. They have very sketchy business ethics, and I would not buy there again.

They don't even deserve half of a star. They are liars, and dirty crooks there. I gave them all the information they asked for, got me approved, and took the car back, ran my credit to the ground, and committed fraud on my application. They knew everything, and lied to the district attorney's office, because I turned them in. They are predatory, and won't hesitate to commit fraud. They are total bullshitters. I secretly recorded them, in which I plan on using that as evidence against them. Too bad I had to give a star just to post this, because they deserve none at all. Please don't waste your time there, because you will be a victim.
