“First of all, I used the Google fiber chat feature with a live agent on a Sunday morning. How many companies can you do that with?Second, I was inquiring about getting a second mesh extender for the Google fiber network versus upgrading to their 2 gig service. The agent immediately asked if I had devices that were even able to take advantage of 2 gig over wifi. Great question.His point was that the device had to be directly connected to the router (and capable of taking advantage of the 2 gig upgrade) for there to be a benefit. He said if the devices were receiving the signal via wifi and/or an extender, the increase is negated. That honest advice actually cost Google money.I'm getting the additional mesh extender (one-time charge of $85 - photos attached) versus committing to an additional $30 per month that wouldn't have improved my situation.”

“I went to T-Mobile today to switch service from AT&T to T-Mobile, and get a new phone. Juan was very helpful, knowledgeable and is awesome at his job. I usually dread the process of getting a new phone, but it was a great experience. The other employees were very friendly as well. Customer service provided by Juan was hands down 5 stars. “I went in this store to return a headset I bought elsewhere. The store was full of customers but I was greeted instantly. The young man that greeted me took my name and offered me a seat while I waited. A young lady named gabby popped up out of nowhere and said she could help me. “Adienne signed me up with Verizon and was extremely helpful with the entire process. Everything went smooth, she answered all my questions, gave me all the information I needed, and help me set up my new device and ensure my new numbers were working properly. She was also a pleasure to talk to, very fun experience with Verizon.

And I just got done with AT&T after a very bad plan with them where I was getting advertised deceptive prices by a sales rep, and then charged way higher on my bill and sold insurances I didn't ask for and wasn't told about, AT&T also locked my phone that was paid off when I was on vacation in the Philippines with my wife, which practically forced me to buy a whole new phone just to use a Philippines SIM card for convenience and get proper cell service. Their customer service is terrible, and even paying off the remaining balance on their promo phone took 2 hours, like I just wanted them to take my money, unlock my phones, and cancel, and they made me jump through hoop after hoop after hoop ☠️☠️☠️

I highly recommend Verizon over AT&T and furthermore you should ask for Adienne, she will definitely get you set up right and she makes great small talk.

“I was dreading getting a required SIM card replacement dealt with and was down to the wire on verge of losing service so stopped by this Boost Mobile location with my son today. To my surprise I had a fantastic outing. The free SIM card replacement was just the start. I asked Kay about adding hot spot service and by the time we wrapped up he gotten our 3 family phones pulled together on a 3/$100 plan, added hot spots to all AND our new plan is less than what I was paying prior. More features, less $ and efficient service with a smile and lots of laughs. Couldn't ask for more. You've earned a loyal customer and I will gladly share my experience with others. WELL DONE, YOU MADE MY DAY! THANK YOU!!!!!”

“These five stars are for the Verizon store on 119th Street in Olathe, KS. Specifically for Raphael. If he isn't in some sort of management position, then you are not using him to his full potential, or to Verizon's benefit. He was professional, polite, and was able to find a resolution to my issue in less than 5 minutes.
I have had issues with my Verizon cell service since my upgrade in January. I have dealt with technical support over a dozen times. They've walked me through different things in my settings to try (turning on wi-fi calling, checking for updates, sending new signal, hard resets, etc.) and even sent me a replacement phone. It is now April, and I still haven't had consistent phone or text service. I was pretty upset and called technical support yet again yesterday. They have all been extremely kind and have truly tried to help, but after being transferred to a supervisor he sent me to the store to replace my phone a third time. I went to the store and they informed me that they are not allowed to do what I was told needed to be done, but that they did see that's what I was told in the notes on my account. However, Rafael said that he could replace the SIM card and that he believed it would fix my problem, he was correct and today my phone is working great. I'm wondering why that wasn't something technical support had me try initially (especially being that tech support is their specialty) and it seemed to be the quickest fix out of everything I'd been through? Thanks Rafael for doing in 5 minutes what over a dozen people couldn't do in 4 months, I appreciate you!
Verizon you almost lost a long-term customer. I wasn't happy paying for service that I wasn't receiving, having to call multiple times a week (hours on the phone after working all day) begging for help to get my phone to work with no resolution. Some of your representatives that I spoke with do not know their job. One woman ordered me a replacement phone that was never ordered. People telling me different things, and telling me that things someone else had told me were incorrect. And then to have a technical support supervisor send me to a store to get a phone knowing that it's not allowed is unacceptable, poor customer service, and bad for your business. You are a huge company, I would recommend consistent quality training across the board, right now it's definitely lacking.”

“KCFiber is an excellent ISP and a shining example of what municipal internet service should look like.I work from home, and in 4 years of service with them there has been exactly one unplanned outage. This outage was due to a thunderstorm causing an electrical outage across parts of NKC; a service failing of the electrical company if anything. Service was restored quickly as soon as Evergy was able to restore electrical service to the affected areas.KCFiber offers FREE Gigabit internet after a one-time setup fee. This has saved us thousands of dollars over Google Fiber or any other provider. Additionally, they do not force you to use their own equipment like some of the other providers. For anyone experiencing issues with their WiFi please understand that these issues are most likely related to the local equipment inside of your home and NOT the ISP. I would strongly suggest using your own equipment and making sure that the equipment you use is appropriate for your home. As an analogy, you wouldn't blame the electric company when your electrical devices trip your circuit breaker-- likewise you shouldn't blame the ISP for issues with your Wireless Router.The speeds are incredible-- KCFiber provides Gigabit speeds for BOTH upload and download while most ISPs only provide Gigabit for download only while throttling upload speeds to a fraction of that. True 1Gb upload and download is rare and makes a ton of difference in usability. I have had my house wired for ethernet and have no fewer than 16 hard-wired devices and 30-40 wireless clients connected simultaneously and have never even come close to maxing out the gigabit throughput, even while streaming 4k video on several devices and hosting multiple websites.For the technically inclined, while KCFiber does not offer residential static IP addresses as a service, I have had the same external IP address for 4 years, so it may as well be static. KCFiber does not block port forwarding like many other ISPs making it easy to host your own websites and services, or forward ports for online gaming.The few times I needed to call KCFiber, the on-call technicians were knowledgeable and professional, even at 8pm at night.All in all, this ISP has been the best I have ever used. North Kansas City should be proud to offer such a great service for the residents here and to do so at no cost to homeowners. Please support this local ISP to make sure that the city does not allow Google/Comcast/ATT to takeover. For privacy, speed, cost and reliability, we would all be much worse off with them as opposed to KCFiber.”
