“This has got to be my favorite dollar general I have ever shopped at. The staff is very friendly and in the year we have lived in the town we have enjoyed going in and shopping and visiting with the friendly staff. The store is always fully stocked. If I can't find something anywhere else I'm going to this store and 9 times out of ten they will have it, if the store carries it in stock. The store is always clean also.”

“Tilton's is a somewhat bare-bones small grocery store that fills an important role for a community that, without it, would be a grocery store desert. While some (many?) of the regular items are more expensive than Walmart, the produce is typically a real deal!! Often at the end of its shelf-life, you'll want to freeze or cook it right away. So long as you're willing to do so, you can enjoy a little oasis from inflation. ? I'm thankful that my neighbors and I have this store that allows me to buy a bag or two of fruits and veggies for less than $10.”
“This is where I get my Vuse cartridges. They are the cheapest place I have found to get them, so far. While the employees aren't real friendly the store is clean and carry a variety of different ethnic food items.”
“Gas is not comparable with other stations within their 2 mile gas comparison rates like they are supposed to always be the lowest within a 2 mile radius of their pumps.”

“I have Asperger's, I'm in this store almost once a day, but on Christmas eve I was threatened by a guy mistaking me for someone else and asking for money he thought I owed him. Not only did the cashier step in, one stepped away from his register to walk me outside and get me to my car. I don't like hugging people I don't know, but I gave that guy a hug for being an absolute badass.”
“They are great and knowledgeable especially on Macvicar. I feel like family when I go there they know me and my wife by name it's such a blessing. They are always friendly and always remind me when I need my shots. Love them all.”
“Rented a Rug Doctor but didn’t assume the name Dr Rug. This is good and I’m grateful for keeping my unassuming self, free from self proclamation. The Rug Doctor did a great job and priced right. Dorothy, the store manager was very helpful and does an amazing job as her help is.

“This shampoo found at Dollar General (purchased in north Topeka Blvd in shopping center) is the only kind they have that isn't heavy laden with several types of sulfates that is very harsh on your hair. This is free from all kinds of chemical & additives that can be harmful. It's safe for you, the planet & no testing on animals. It smells great & gets your hair really clean & soft.”

“Christina the pharmacist absolutely saved the day! After numerous of other pharmacies around Topeka were closed or out of stock. Christina took my call 15 min before closing time and went above and beyond to help us! Waiting after hours 30 min, calling other pharmacies and the hospital to make sure we could get the much needed medication we needed. Thanks Christina!!”
