They were unable to order the tire I needed for my Subaru - which wasn’t a big deal, I get that part of it…but the reason for the low review is the wild goose chase they sent me on to order the tire on my own. They told me I could drive out of town to the nearest dealership (on my donut, which has a mileage limit?) OR order it myself, then bring back for them to install. When I went home to google the info they told me I needed, it quickly became clear it would be a lot more complicated than they made it seem in the shop, and I became incredibly overwhelmed because the numbers they gave me did not match what I was finding. When I called, the guy was like “oh yeah, there’s also an ‘R’ and a ‘/‘ in there”…but why did he not tell me that the first time around??????
Called Burnett the next day, no problem - tire ordered. ?
Peerless really had me believing no shop in town would be able to help me. I prefer my mechanics to *refer out* if they can’t provide a service themselves…Peerless lost all trust from that interaction & I will not be back.

Good service in both Manhattan & Junction City Ks. The Michelin Defender tires have never let me down since I first used them in 2006. I have driven over 500k miles with 3 sets on 2 cars since 2006 not 1 flat due to tire failure.

How was peerless in Manhattan to me the service I got was awesome I would take my car again to get fix the guys were nice so far I give them 5stars☆☆☆☆☆ it is the peerless on Anderson St. Across from McDonald's try them and see for yourself good day

What a rip off! Would give Zero stars if possible. Went in to have a spare tire I had, mounted on a rim, the guy charges me $38.50! I guess I should have asked how much before he did it but was not expecting such a HIGH price. Took 2 whole minutes then tries to justify this outrageous price bye uttering "Gotta pay the employees wages ya know" $38.50 for a tire mount? You just lost thousands in future business with me and my family.

The guy at the desk is awesome and deserves a raise! He was willing to discuss the possibility of buying just 2 tires vs all four, and offered to give me the best tire as a spare after getting new ones. I ended up getting all four new ones once we looked over the ones I had, and he found me a set in my price range.
