It is always concerning when places are aggressive about not installing video monitoring now or in the future. I wish I had listened to my gut about those warning signs. My son had a horrible time there. This specifically involved one teacher. (I'm not sure of google's privacy rules so I won't mention their name.) The last straw was when his therapist visited this location and called me to advocate getting him away from their care as soon as possible. The therapist expressed her specific concern about the teach that my son had complained about as well as her doubt that the teacher in question had the desire to improve her ability to provide care. The therapist also expressed concern about how KinderCare teachers were trained. I took vacation time so that we could removed him the next day. Luckily, he's been able to happily transitioned to another care provider where he is learning and interacting with friends and teachers without incident. Yet, months later just driving down any road near KinderCare causes him to bring up the specific teacher and beg to never have to see her again.I had concerns that this was just a bad match between my son and this teacher that escalated beyond reason and have not posted a review as a result. However, I met someone at dinner recently who had a similar story but with a much younger child. This parent said their two year old had such a bad time at KinderCare that they have been traumatized by the word "daycare" which they used to refer to KinderCare. Because of the child's young age and the lack of cameras, the parents are not sure what happened. Like my family has done, they have also successfully transitioned their child to another care provider and they love it there. Unfortunately, their child still gets hysterical when they slip up and describe drop off at the current care provider as occurring at "daycare".I've read the positive reviews of this location and I am happy that people have had better experiences. However, it is important to note that these are not universal and that there have been at least two very negative experiences. I hope to never hear of a third. I would not recommend risking the chance that your child has a similar experience.

The teachers and staff at Hylton Heights KinderCare are truly amazing. The care that my children received while in their care was beyond what I ever could have expected, and I am forever grateful for the safe and loving environment that they have created within their facility. They truly care for the wellbeing and development of every child in their care and I can't think of anything that they could do differently to improve upon what they're already providing to the community!

Absolutely the best. When I was ready to go back to work, I was nervous to leave my baby with anyone. My first son did not go into daycare until he was old enough to talk, so this was a big step for me. Right from the beginning I felt comfortable there and I always feel that my baby is part of the KinderCare family. Even through COVID, and not being allowed into the back, I know that my son is in good care. Everyone there is great and Bailee (hope I spelled that right) is so sweet and always has a smile on her face when my boy comes through the door. I am happy that I found them!

Hylton Heights KinderCare is amazing. Each and every teacher is patient, kind, understanding, and cares about my child! No matter how many times I call to check up on her or what kind of a days she has, the entire staff responds with kindness. My daughter is so happy to go to daycare and see her teachers and play with her friends. I am grateful beyond words for the amazing teachers and staff at Hylton Heights!

My oldest has been going here for 3 yrs, my youngest since she was born. My children love going to “school”. The classrooms are open so the children get to know kids and teachers from the surrounding classes which makes for an easier adjustment when it’s time to move to a new class. The director and teachers are wonderful! They have become like a second family and leaving is going to be hard!!

This center has been a game changer for my child and myself! My 4 year old is NOT the easiest to handle. He has trouble paying attention, listening, and with change in general; so I am always nervous for him to start a new school. He has been there since June and absolutely loves it! I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know he is happy there. Every single employee from the director to the teachers and aides make him feel secure and liked. They are wonderful and caring ladies. His delayed speech is improving and so is his self-esteem. I honestly can't say enough good things!

We love the Manhattan, KS KinderCare Center! My daughter's development excelled and she learned so many new skills under her amazing and talented teachers. KinderCare is an excellent place to send your child for daycare, the staff was nothing but warm and friendly!

I love Kindercare. I feel so welcome there and my son loves his teachers. I definitely will say I feel like they are family and they treat you as if you are a family. I feel safe knowing my son is there. My son has been there for two years and we haven’t had any problems. Highly recommend them.

Son has excelled in this traditional preschool environment. The teachers are caring, yet firm. Standardized system of care, and complete communication with parents at all times. Could not ask for a better child care partner! Only wish we had found them BEFORE son ended up with loose teeth after attending another school in town.
